Verybnice to be upgraded to a suite
Staff was friendly.
Liked the bottled water in the room for each of us.
Shower (build into the bath) head was horrible. Only water coming out of some of the holes and making a terrible noise when you open it. Showered at 11 at night and my partner didn't want to shower because we were scared of disturbing other guests. there was also no water pressure to mention.
There was a tv placed on the mirror cabinet covering the whole mirror.
Nice big tv but couldn't use the mirror for hair and make up.
There was a dirty teaspoon and the headboard in the room was full of dust
Late check-in was both painless and easy, the staff were very welcoming and happy to help.
The room was amazing, however the latch on the exterior (patio) door was broken so it couldn't lock and the kettle didn't work.
The staff was friendly, the view amazing.
You need to utilize the view as a selling point
I saw a roach in my room, upset me a bit.
The Scenery and the staff.
Beds, bathrooms
The place is quite
Water
Beautiful. Friendly staff
The table lamp was broken, they made it fit to keep it up to the wall.
Food was great, staff was welcoming
The bed in the one room was broken and you could feel the strings and wires. The couches were not comfortable and falling in so they might need to replace them
We spent part of our honeymoon there 60 ago almost to the day! We have stayed there on 3 or 4 occasions since then, so we know the hotel and what it offers, well.
We were sad to note how few other people were spending the night there. At this low occupancy rate, the hotel cannot survive. This was the 2nd Orion hotel we've stayed at in the past 12 months, the other being the Coach House, and in both cases, this was a disappointment. Specific to the Magoebaskloof Hotel were many minor maintenance problems in the room that I will inform the management about in detail. I was disappointed to hear that it will not be participating in the Azalea festival.
The views and the staff's hospitality.
The room. The place needs improvement. The rooms and furniture is old and worn out
