Pros:

La ubicación era perfecta para visitar Tumpac Sewu. Las vistas del volcán eran muy bonitas. Es un alojamiento correcto para para parar y hacer la excursión.

Cons:

No tenía oscurecedores en las ventanas y solo había dos tomas de corriente en la habitación.

有提供早餐，离瀑布非常近，适合快速中转一晚，房间也很大，并且很便宜，性价比高，服务人员也十分热情，旅行必备。

Cons:

晚上过车有点吵，吹风机要去前台要，但考虑到价格和位置这都不是问题。

Für eine Nacht genau richtig. Lage top!
Pros:

Die Unterkunft versorgt die Fahrern und Guides mit Essen, wenn die Gäste übernachten, was ein klarer Sympathiepunkt ist.
Es war alles grundlegend sauber. Für eine Nacht, um den Tumpak sewu zu sehen und etwas Geld zu sparen, vollkommen ausreichend.
Wasser und Zahnbürsten waren im Zimmer vorhanden. Nur 15 min zu Fuß vom Tumpak sewu entfernt!

Cons:

Laut durch Moscheen in der Nähe. Kein Fön.

Grosse saubere Zimmer, bequemes Bett, sehr freundliches Personal.

Cons:

Sehr laute Strasse. Gebetsruf von der Moschee war laut und lange. Gehört aber in einem muslimischen Land dazu.

Struttura a due passi (900m) dall’ingresso della cascata di Tumpak Sewu, costo irrisorio

Cons:

Struttura essenziale, estremamente umida (anche le lenzuola erano quasi bagnate), con una colazione al buffet che dire misera sarebbe un complimento.

L'hôtel n'y est pour rien, mais la route fait quand même vraiment beaucoup de bruit... Je pense que l'Hôtel Kaliningratt 2 est plus au calme, il est probablement préférable parce que là pour dormir c'était quand même très compliqué

Comfortable for single night stay. Restaurant had a simple but nice Chinese menu very good for us vegetarians.

Recommend walking through the village and fields behind the hotel. Turn left along the main road (not v nice to walk on) for a short distance and then turn left on a smaller road. This leads up through the village and fields. Nice little walk and interesting to see the area a little.

Excellent stay near Tumpak Sewu with amazing hospitality
Pros:

We had a really enjoyable stay at Kaliningrat Cottage 1. The location is perfect if you’re planning to visit Tumpak Sewu waterfall, as it’s very close and easy to access early in the morning. The views around the property are beautiful, especially of Mount Semeru.
The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with good air conditioning and hot water. It’s not a luxury place, but everything you need is provided and it feels cosy and well-maintained.
What really stood out was the hospitality. The staff and owner were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the stay feel very welcoming and personal. The breakfast was simple but sufficient, and it was convenient to have food available on site.
Overall, this is a great value-for-money option, especially for a short stay or if you’re exploring the nearby waterfalls. Highly recommended for travellers who prioritise location, cleanliness, and warm service.

Cons:

Just be aware: The access is slightly uphill, which might be a bit challenging for some guests.
It is next to the main road, so can be noisy.

Excellent stay at Tumpak Sewu
Pros:

Excellent location. Clean room with decent hot water and air conditioning. A nice breakfast is provided so you can fuel up before/ after your hike at Tumpak Sewu and Gua Tetes. Staff are friendly and help you with your luggage.

Cons:

My bed was a bit creaky at one side but nothing major. Just note that you will hear morning prayers and vehicles of travellers departing from property in the early morning to Tumpak Sewu so please use ears plugs if you wish to sleep in for a bit.

Unterkunft mit einem tollen Ausblick auf den Semeru. Nur 15 min vom Tumpak Sewu entfernt. Das Essen war super lecker und das Personal sehr freundlich! Allgemein waren wir mit der Unterkunft und den Zimmern zufrieden.

Pros:

L’emplacement est idéal pour découvrir les chutes de tempuk sewu qui sont à 10 mns à pied.
Le personnel est très serviable et la gérante nous a même trouvé un taxi pour rejoindre Bromo, chose peu facile dans le coin.
Le restaurant est idéal pour ne pas avoir à reprendre le taxi

Simple breakfast and specious room. We took 2 rooms and satisfied with the room. Its a basic room for one night. Value for money you pay. Nice view of semeru from the balcony.

Cons:

The cottage up hill. Not recomended for old people.
