Perfect Stayz Kaithu – A Misleading Stay That Should Be Avoided
Pros:

Nothing. Decided not to stay. Paid and they declined to refund.

I made a booking at Perfect Stayz Kaithu with an advance payment of approximately INR 7,400. Unfortunately, the moment I arrived, it became very clear that this was a serious mistake.
Firstly, the location is extremely remote and not as convenient as portrayed. Access is difficult, and once you arrive, you are essentially isolated without proper amenities nearby.
More concerning, however, is the condition of the property itself.
The room provided was in an unacceptable state:
The bed was visibly dirty, raising serious hygiene concerns
The chairs had clear fungus stains, suggesting they had not been cleaned for a long time
The bathroom cabinet was covered in black fungus, indicating poor maintenance and lack of basic sanitation
These are not minor issues—they are fundamental hygiene failures that no guest should have to tolerate.
I immediately contacted the hotel management and requested a refund, as the room was clearly not in a livable condition. I was told that the matter would be looked into, but no action was taken. The request was ultimately not entertained, leaving me with no choice but to abandon the stay and book another hotel at my own additional cost.
What makes this experience particularly concerning is that, after reading other reviews, I realized that similar issues have been repeatedly reported by other guests. Unfortunately, I experienced the same situation firsthand.
This reflects not just a one-off lapse, but a pattern of misleading representation and poor accountability.

Pros:

The place was clean, well maintained and staff was extremely helpful and understanding. But the staff needs to correct the location in google maps which they will act on. Food was also good.

A beautiful large apartment not far from Shimla centre
Pros:

We liked that the apartment was very large, clean and well furnished.

Cons:

The staff were not very helpful in helping me find a laundry nearby. There was a large monkey on the stairs outside our room, and I was frightened he would bite me, my husband or one of our 3 young children- It was wonderful to see him through the window though
