A really special experience
Pros:

It’s a really cosy little retreat. Quite special and incredibly cheap. The host was lovely

Cons:

There’s no running water and there’s a composting toilet around the back but it’s still possible to cook and there’s showering and normal toilets at the main farm building a couple of minutes away.

En god natts søvn, i en fin liten hytte!
Pros:

Leide hytte / koie uten innlagt vann eller strøm for 1 natt. Positivt med parkering ved hytta. Godt utstyrt både innvendig og utvendig. Særs positivt med powerbank for ladding av mobil, og vedovn med tilhørende ved. Jeg hadde med eget håndkle og sengetøy. Jeg hadde imidlertid ikke behøvd dette da det var inkludert i leien fikk jeg opplyst av verten Stephanie. Fikk tips om tur ned til vannet som lå 10 minutter unna, samt Olsok-auksjonen på fjellstua dagen etter (noe jeg fikk med meg, gøy!), også det i gåavstand fra hytta. Hørte noe hundeglam mens jeg var der, men dette var på ingen måte generende. Stille og rolig natt i særdeles myk og god seng.

Cons:

Tips: Lag gjerne en større plakat om instruksene for bruken av utedoen (utedo bak hytta).

It was so peaceful. Recommend to go for s hike around the lake and relax on the beach by the fire

Was a great trip and good host!
Pros:

Very good places for kids, lots of space to play outside. Not too far away from Røros.

Excellent value for money. Cosy. Very nice staff. Highly recommended. Will surely come back again soon.

Old style cabin. Cosy. Easy to park your car nearby. Everything you could possibly need inside, including powerbanks.

Cons:

Would have appreciated a toilet/outhouse near the cabin.

The perfect hideaway, in serene beautiful nature with a homemade breakfast to die for
Pros:

I had been on a long roadtrip already, including several workshops (I am a photographer), and was just dog tired and wanted to rest for one night, and then driving from Røros I found this place close to the border, less than one hour away. It is beautifully situated, in serene nature, and although close to Røros, it is the perfect hideaway. Run by a French couple that have found their piece of paradise, running a husky farm among other things. It is an old farm, with hundreds of years of history in its walls, and huge comfortable beds, tough to wake up from.

I am not a breakfast person, but Stephanié made the best brunch I have had in a very long time, with fresh home made sourdough bread, wonderful French omelette, cheese, cured meats, lingonberries +++, and all just for me! That meal alone was worth it, so my only complaint is that I couldn't stay longer.
