What’s not to like ?
The car parking
Location and room was quite big, was good enough. Got drinks voucher for agreeing not to have room cleaned overnight
Decor too dark and depressing, mould smell in room, hear a lot of street noise due to location and walls are paper thin, could hear conversation next door at night while trying to sleep
Lovely bar and lounge, the staff were very nice and helpful, and the hotel is in a great location for the city.
Nothing it was all lovely
Breakfast was very good. Room was nice , clean. Enough space
Comfy bed with good blackout curtains.
QR code to view menus wouldn't work. The on button on the mirror let it a bright white light which made it hard to sleep.
Proximate towards the train station
Some room rooms are a bit noisy from the roads
The staff were wonderful and couldn't do enough to support. When I first entered my room, I was completely blown away and looked forward to a couple of blissful days surrounding the training day I was attending.
I didn't like the shower tap coming off in my hand, and the absence of the maintenance man, who had not reported back to reception to tell them what had happened.
I didn't like that I had to move to another room to use the shower I had intended to use. I didn't like that I was then short of time for settling before my training event. I didn't like having to change rooms because of how the maintenance man had left things. It left me feeling very unsettled, and spoilt my first stay away for three years. It also took me away from spending precious time with the friends I had trained with.
I found the original invoices that I was given very confusing, and was grateful for the replacements.
Fantastic selection of hot and cold dishes.
Great location, food excellent
Great location
Bit dated and it was also very stuffy. Unable to open any windows in the room. The door on the shower didn’t shut properly so the floor was awash with water after showering.
