Decent place, but suspect attempt at an extra charge
Pros:

Room was clean.

Cons:

Owner tried to add an extra 2% exchange rate for paying in BOBs. After almost two months in Bolivia, the rate was always 7%. She tried to charge 9% and couldn't provide a sensible reason. We paid in USDs, but if we paid in BOBs, the price would have been about $7.57 (USD) more. Not a huge sum, but a little bit shady business practice. So, have USDs or perhaps Euros, to avoid this inexplicable 2% charge. $26.40 x 7= 184. $26.40 x 9= 237. 237-184=53. 53 / 7= 7.57. Do the math before you pay.

Resedencial Teresita...a great place to stay.
Pros:

There is so much I liked about Resedencial Teresita.The room was clean and comfortable.Breakfast was very nice each morning.The location was perfect-a very short walk to the main plaza.What I liked most was Leo.This man,who owns the guesthouse,was friendly,helpful and made my stay SO enjoyable.Leo organised a trip to La Higuera for me on the Sunday and was also the guide.He also took me on a guided tour of Vallegrande the next day.On the day I was leaving he stayed with me at the bus station until I was on the bus for Santa Cruz...One of the kindest people I have met in my 8 weeks in Bolivia 🇧🇴... Really a good friend....Top marks to Leo

I LOVED EVERYTHING.

Historic hotel in the center of Vallegrande as hub for Ruta del Che
Pros:

Easy, friendly and fast communication.
Hotel owner is doing the Ruta del Che by his own and is very knowledgeable about the history.
Otherwise he can help to organize the tour.

Cons:

I can only talk about one single room:
It is an old hotel and room and bathroom needs a bit renovation.
