Horrible place. Old, decrepit, and looks like a haunted building. It is dark, gory, and quite literally like a ghost asylum. The air conditioning does not work. They have no WiFi so you can’t access the internet. I booked on Expedia and paid for my stay upfront. After checking in, the front clerk called about 30 minutes later to tell me they couldn’t find any record indicating that I had paid for my accommodation. I went downstairs to prove that I already paid through online and had showed him the booking confirmation number. He saw it but kept insisting that his Manager said he hadn’t received an alert. I couldn’t access my email to show detailed receipt because their property had no WiFi access. I then had to pay again in local currency and told the clerk that I would leave to go home and if while at home I access my bank account and and see that I had infact paid in full, that his manager had better refund my money.
True enough, when I was able to access my email, all my prepayment receipts were there.
I forwarded this information to the Manager via his WhatsApp account ( the clerk had assured me that they have a refund process) but the manager has refused to respond to my messages, even though he read them. I am still in this city and I plan to go there physically to speak to someone in charge who is above the manager. This whole thing is extremely frustrating. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.
