Rooms were grubby and dated ... not the cleanest... tiles in bathroom were black in places ..hairs in bathroom

A bit underwhelming!

Pros:

Staff were super friendly, the hotel was clean and the shower was fantastic!

Cons:

Walls were a little thin (or our neighbours were quite loud) - you could hear them talking through the wall but not loud enough to make out what they were saying

Pros:

Basic but omfortable. Helpful reception staff, Good, powerful shower.

Cons:

No lift. The (steep) stairs only have a bannister on one side - right hand side as you go down. For a right handed person (majority) that walks with a stick (on the right) this means no bannister coming down the stairs which is a fall risk - that would be easily fixed by having a bannister on both sides.

Enjoyed facilities, except for the pools of water on entrance to; Travel lodge.
