Can be very noisy here, not the best place to sleep at if you can't handle noise at night.

Utensils weren't great for cooking, we had to buy towels for the bathrooms

The property we saw in our confirmation was not the place we stayed at. A lot of the windows were broken and couldn't be opened. There was no parking close to the property. It took me 2 months to get the required cash deposit back and booking.com finally gave it back, not the property. All in all it wasn't what it was represented to be.

I don't like because it is dirty. The host an receiption is not friendly, not in time for checking and check in

Basic cooking items only. Hosts provided 1 hand towel and 1 bath towel only per guest for a weeks stay and some towels were stained. Pillows could use replacing. Some of the curtains were not functioning. Pre-arrival communication was minimal and generic. It was a little nerve-wrecking not being able to communicate about check-in procedure until a few hours before.

Extremely poor communication with the host and problems with returning the deposit to the bank account. this is my 69th booking through booking.com so i have experience with hosts and I have never experienced such unprofessionalism. The deposit was returned after three weeks of waiting and after I threatened to sue. I don't recommend it.

Parking on the street was posible, bud street was fool of cars ( maybe because of border of restrict zone and nearness of U bahn) and was realy difficult to find place. The apartment was a little bit noisy, but this fact we new forward and counted with this. In the kitchen we missed microwave oven and teapot ( there was one by cofee mashine and smelted with cofee)

Location is far from famous Berlin objects. Travelling with public transport was costly

There was a few missing basic ammenities that were minor inconveniences but still should have been present. For example there was 6 of us staying for a week and there was only 2 rolls of toilet paper. There was no body wash in the shower, there was also no microwave. Just small things that make a big difference. There was also a handy man that arrived at 9am that we had no warning was coming … he came to ‘measure the balcony’??? Which is just weird whilst we were in bed. This was a major invasion of privacy and should never happen without due warning. I tired to call the owner multiple times and send several messages but we never received an apology or explanation for this.

Dishwasher was broken, we were not told beforehand
All seats were overused and didnt sit properly
Only one massive blinding light in the living area
Got offered cocaine in the elevator
Piss alley entrance to building

Kitchen utensils were at minimum, view from the window was to a roof full of trash, one of the keys didn't work.

But the biggest issue was deposit. Host claimed that we checked out three hours to late and didn't refund us the whole sum. Las of us checked out at 10 a.m.

No Iron

Attitude of owners (rude!!! and inflexible). Hidden obligation for 200 euro deposit in cash even if you pay in advance. Inflexible check-in/check-out times. Staff was 15 minutes late for check-out. I had to wait until they inspected everything (even under the matrasses). You feel smoke in the rooms. You had to carry the trash out. Bureaucratic and unfriendly communication

Ridiculous rules, many of which arrive only after you've booked. You have to give 200 euro deposit cash when you arrive, and 35-65 euro cash if check-in is done after 20.00 even if you tell him your arrival time weeks before (and then i had to wait half an hour under the rain because HE arrived late for the check in). If you lose your key they want you to pay to change the whole lock of the door! You can let someone go up in your room (only go up, not sleep) only after asking permission to the owner! For the check out in the morning a woman waits in front of the apartment door and at exactly 11am she rings the bell, enters and checks the room while you are still finishing packing up. Embarassing. At any time the owner can fine you (!?) by withholding the 200 euros and interrupt your stay if he decides that you have violated a rule and kick you out at any time without giving you back a single euro! And the apartment is not a castle, it's nice and clean but is in a creepy building, dilapidated with piles of abandoned rubbish. If you break something you not only have to pay him back but... add 38 euros (?!) for every hour of work he puts in to fix it. And who controls it? And everything cash, cash, cash but it's Booking I used, i want to pay under the rules of the website. Why they never wrote about the "repaying of the entire lock" in the Booking website, as an example? Never again! Don't make our same mistake!
