Comfortable stay in a great city
Pros:

Really cool hotel, very relaxed and welcoming. The room was fairly small but so well thought out it didn’t feel it. View from the rooftop is spectacular.

Cons:

A little bit out of the main centre, but a bus stop directly outside and a Ubhan 12 mins walk away.

Gute Lage, schöne und saubere Zimmer

Cons:

Es ist schon arg reduziert beim Personal. 1 Person verantwortlich für Check in und Bar etc., da fühlt man sich schon etwas verloren. Mehr Menschen habe ich nicht gesehen. Es gibt einen Self Check in, den ich als erstes gesehen und nach einer kurzen Irritation dann auch problemlos genutzt habe. Erst bei späterem, genauerem Hinsehen habe ich die o.g. eine Person und den anderen Check in gefunden.

Die Zimmer sind „Nester“, also ziemlich klein - wenngleich es an nichts fehlt. Dafür ist der Preis hoch - aber es ist ja auch München…

Pros:

Lovely comfortable and spacious room. The kitchen was great. Comfortable bed, great shower. We had a family room and the bunk beds tucked away in their own little cubby area was a big hit with my son. Good location. Staff were lovely and helpful.

It was a comfortable stay though a bit small for family of four.

The sofa bed was noisy and not very comfortable. The shower curtains had mould at the bottom.

A very well appointed and comfortable hotel for a family of 4 in a clean and safe neighbourhood.
Pros:

The location was good. Poccistrasse UBahn was closed, so we used Schwanthalerhohe as an alternative, less than 10 minutes' walk away and only 2 stops to Munich Hbf (just past the Augustiner beer garden and through Bavariapark). There is also a bus stop immediately opposite, which takes you to Marienplatz. The neighbourhood is safe and clean. The hotel itself is quirky in a nice way! The open plan area is excellent, staff are very polite and accommodating, and there is water (still and sparkling) on tap for free, along with apples and bananas. Cooking and dishwashing facilities are all there and accessible. Clothes washing facilities are also excellent. The rooms (small double and club room) were very well appointed and comfortable. Showers were good, beds were comfy and there was adequate storage and hanging up space. I'm going back to Munich myself in November and will definitely consider booking this hotel again. The roof space was also excellent, with views of Oktoberfest festival grounds and on to the city, and views the other way to the Alps.

A hint if you're looking to hire a car: Klaxo are just around the corner and also use the Coccoon car park for their vehicles, which means you're not paying for parking, but the space is in the same building (linked car parks) and 2 stops down in the lift. It was so convenient and as well as being less than 5 minutes' walk away to the Klaxo office, meant we didn't have to pay any additional parking whilst being content that the car was safe and secure.

Rischart on the ground floor is also extremely handy!

I'd definitely stay here again
Pros:

The location was excellent. Moat of the venues we visited were walking distance or close to the train station. Our room was good and the bakery on the main floor was a bonus.

Cons:

We did not have breakfast included. Most of the staff was helpful but the evening staff was not as willing to help. The biggest disappointment was the lack of English TV or at the least the ability to stream English programs.
