Prima verblijf in dit hotel in deze leuke stad, en een mooie kamer.

Prima ontbijt

Cons:

De tv gaf bij ondertiteling een Nederlandse voiceover die we nier weg kregen.
Het bed lag heerlijk maar het laken schoof weg.

A convenient stay in Leiden
Pros:

Location was great.

Cons:

There are some essential things lacking: no refrigerator, no bathroom cottonpads,ear cottonbuds, no slippers. And one time thay did not clean the room properly, they didnot clean the coffee cups, they didnot refill the coffee capsules, and did not empty the trash bin. I had to warn them, and the next days it was ok.

Prima hotel. De locatie naast het station in het centrum van Leiden is perfect.
Verder moderne en rustige kamers. Prima uitvalsbasis voor de randstad.

Cons:

Het ontbijt is karig, met name voor wat je betaald. Eetzaal is wel leuk ingericht.

hotel zonder verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel voor de gast (het zijn de buren, het is de overheid)

De locatie was perfect tussen stad en treinstation

Cons:

Er was een verbouwing aan de gang (bij de buren wellicht?), elke ochtend werd je vroeg wakker door bouwwerkzaamheden. Het hotel schoof dit af op de buren. Er was geen waterkoker. Voor 2 personen voor 3 nachten werd 1 mini flesje water beschikbaar gesteld.
Toeristenbelasting hoger dan gecommuniceerd, BTW verhoging was een verrassing voor het hotel. Hun mening was dat de toerist zich moet informeren over de huidige hoogte van zowel lokale als landelijke belastingen. Ik heb het nog nergens meegemaakt op deze manier. In ieder geval ben ik blij dat andere kostprijzen van hun hetzelfde waren gebleven anders had ik ook nog moeten betalen voor de verhoging van het wasmiddel of zo. Het kan overigens zijn dat dit een cultureel verschil is. Dezelfde dag werd er in Leiden 3 keer ergens iets in rekening gebracht bij mij wat niet vermeld stond van te voren.
Bovenstaande klinkt negatief. Ik heb het ook niet als prettig ervaring. Maar de rest van de kamer was prima op orde. Ik heb genoeg slechtere (en betere) hotelkamers gezien. Als ze dat combineerden met een beetje verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel dat was dit een prima hotel. Helaas nu niet.
