Personeel was erg vriendelijk, het ontbijt was goed (wel wat prijzig) maar erg veel keus.

Cons:

De inrichting was wat ongezellig en eenvoudig. Mijn zoon sliep in de woonkamer waar het erg licht was/bleef omdat er voor het ene raam alleen een heel dun gordijn hing.

Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück völlig ausreichend. Parkmöglichkeiten ausreichend gegeben.

Cons:

Es gibt nichts was mir nicht gefallen hat. Wenn man etwas erwähnen könnte, dann der Preis. 180 Euro für eine Nacht ist sehr viel Geld, für eine 3 Sterne Ausstattung.

Preis Leistung, meines erachtens- nicht gegeben!

Wir sind mit einer Belegung von 5 Personen angereist. 2 geräumige Apartments. Nicht abdunkelbar, Gerüche, Einrichtung ok. Eine 3er (Erw. u. 2Kinder) Belegung, eine 2er (Erw. u. Kind) Belegung.

Preisgestaltung nicht transparent. Was aber vielleicht auch an Booking lag. Das Apartment in 2er Belegung 342 Euro das in 3er 275 Euro. Check-in war außerhalb der üblichen Check-in Zeit mit Schlüsselsafe. Das war gut und unkompliziert. Frühstück nichts besonderes, könnte besser sein für den Preis pro Person. Kaffeeauswahl durch Kaffeeautomaten reichhaltig.

Nun zu dem Aber...

Es gab weder Heizung noch Warmwasser. Da das System wohl am Abend ausgefallen war. Und ein drittes Bett war in der 3er Belegung nicht zu finden. Die "Schlafcouch" hätte dazu wohl vorbereitet sein müssen. Weder Bettlaken, noch Kopfkissen oder Bettdecke. Und dann noch bitterkalt. Für den Ausfall kann der Hotelbetreiber sicher nichts, allerdings ist das bei 2 Tagen Reisezeit ein erheblicher Reisemangel. Als Entschädigung wurden die 3 Kinder zum Frühstück eingeladen. Für die bitterkalte Nacht vielleicht angemessen. Muss jeder dann selbst entscheiden, für die Nacht ohne Bett allerdings nicht. Dafür hätte zumindest die Erstattung für eine Person pro Nacht drin sein müssen. Lt. Betreiber wäre das schon sehr großzügig mit dem Frühstück. Na ja. Da das Frühstück jetzt das Geld nicht wirklich wert war. Aber vielleicht erwarte ich da auch einfach mehr, da wir viel reisen und daher einfach mehr Vergleichsmöglichkeiten haben.

Check out mit 10 Uhr auch sehr früh. Kleine Aufmerksamkeit zum Geburtstag gab es. Eine Flasche Prosecco.

Alles in allem also für uns leider kein erholsamer Aufenthalt und Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ungenügend.

Schön gelegenes ruhiges Hotel mit Wellnessmöglichkeiten und sehr gutem Frühstück.
Pros:

Das reichhaltige Frühstücksbuffet liess keine Wünsche offen!
Sehr nettes und freundliches Personal.

Cons:

Der alte Radiatorenheizkörper in unserem Zimmer entspricht nicht mehr dem heutigen Standard

Great!!!
Pros:

We stayed 4 nights at Hotel Waldruh and were very pleased with our experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, and our room was very spacious, super clean, and comfortable. The sauna was a real highlight — a great way to unwind after sightseeing. Breakfast was tasty with a good variety. The hotel is just a short drive from Garmisch, making it easy to explore the area. Would recommend for a relaxing stay.

Cons:

One possible improvement: having a small kitchen or kitchenette in the room would have been very useful, especially for longer stays or families.

Overall, a solid, well-run hotel that we would happily recommend.
