Pros:

Nice location surrounded by nature, yet only a 15 min drive to the airport in the morning. Good breakfast. Would stay here again if flying out of Frankfurt, but stay an extra day to actually explore the surroundings.

Great place, great value.
Pros:

They had the best breakfast on our trip (4 Hotels). Nice location in the forrest, but along a country road. Departing planes from Startbahn West were loud, but only until 10 pm.

Cons:

Kein warmes Wasser im Bad/Dusche; Deckenleuchte im Zimmer und Fön funktionierten nicht. ARD und ZDF waren.u. a. nicht zu empfangen, Leseleuchten sehr schwach.

Mit mehr Managementsorgfalt wären die Probleme einfach zu erkennen und beheben, Nachbesserung erfdl.
Pros:

Das Essen im Restaurant war sehr gut, das Personal sehr freundlich die Bedienung sehr gut.
Das Frühstücksbuffet war sicherlich außergewöhnlich reichlich, selbst für einen Vegetarier gab es reichlich Auswahl, z.B. an verschiedenen Käsesorten.
Das bewohnte Zimmer war prinzipiell schöner Altbau, aber!

Cons:

Kritik betrifft die Unterbringung im Nebengebäude, also nicht im neu renovierten Herrenhaus:
-Boden im Eingangsbereich und fleckiger Teppichboden Zimmerflur, Sauberkeit deutlich zu bemängeln.
-im Zimmer: Toilette, Türrahmen Badezimmer und Zimmersessel haben deutliche Verschleiß/Mängel aufgewiesen, was den Aufenthalt leider stark beeinträchtigt haben. Schade, Fotos möchte ich nicht beifügen, da ich die anderen Bereiche nicht kenne und der Zustand vermutlich nicht verallgemeinert werden kann.

Sehr viel aufgestauter Unterhaltsbedarf.
Pros:

Das Frühstück war gut, die Gaststube urchig-gemütlich.
Die Zimmer der einen Kollegen waren neu gemacht und soweit in Ordnung. Die Betten waren bequem.

Cons:

Das Zimmer im "Schloss" war arg in die Jahre gekommen, die Heizung im Zimmer hat nicht funktioniert. Zum Glück funktionierte die im Bad.
Der Handtuchhalter im Bad ist abgeknickt unter der Last der Duschtücher und musste immer wieder nach oben gebogen werden.
Vor dem Hotel gibt es keinen festen Weg, was bei nassem Wetter zu viel Schmutz an Schuhen und Gepäck geführt hat.
