Sehr freundliches Personal.
Ein hervorragendes Frühstück. Sehr große Auswahl, frisch, teilweise eigener Anbau und/oder Herstellung. Viel Bio.
Ebenso das zugehörige Restaurant. Sehr sehr gute vegetarische Gerichte und auch sehr gute sonstige Gerichte. Preislich noch im Rahmen und für die Qualität sowieso.

Cons:

Vom Balkon im Stockwerk darunter zog von Rauchern der Rauch in unser Zimmer hoch. Man sollte das besser organisieren.

Incredible! Book here, eat dinner here!
Pros:

I loved everything about this property ! Traveling with a dog is always challenging, this hotel is so dog friendly and there’s trails everywhere for long walks . The food in the restaurant was incredible, order the steak and you’ll never forget it . Clean rooms and extremely kind staff, the breakfast buffet was the best we’ve had in Europe. They accommodate my 13yo son with a room directly across from our double room and the entire experience was so streamlined. It’s obvious this hotel gets all these glowing reviews because they’ve earned them .

Das Frühstück war sensationell. Sehr grosse Auswahl! Die nassen Kleider konnten abgegeben werden und wurden über Nacht im Trocknungsraum aufgehängt. Grosse und ruhige Sauna.

Sensationelles Frühstück. Sehr schöne Sauna-Anlage mit hellen Ruheräumen und einer Terrasse. Das Nachtessen im Hotel war ebenfalls sehr gut. Die Fahrräder konnten wir in einer Garage abstellen und die nassen Kleider konnten für den Trocknungsraum abgegeben werden.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.
Pros:

Lovely location in beautiful scenic area not far from the Glan-Blies cycle route.
The hotel had book exchange facilities.
The shower etc facilities in the bathroom were great.
It was good to have a restaurant on site as the location was remote.
The food on offer was mostly organic.
The Sauerkraut-cake for dinner was delicious.

Cons:

The room was a little bit darker than expected, and it did not have separate twin beds as requested.
The breakfast lady told us off several times, one for using a cup - ‘this is only decorative!’ - and once for packing some bread to take with us - it was allowed but we should have asked.
There were very limited vegan options to put on the bread for breakfast, the only savoury option was peanut butter. It would have been nice to have some houmous or vegan cheese or steamed peppers in olive oil - there is a large selection of vegan cheeses available in health food shops, made with fermented cashew or macadamia nuts.
The vegan dinner was disappointing, with no discernible taste in the tofu, red onion marmalade or Reibekuchen. The kale dish was drowning in cream.
Suggestion:
Tofu, fry in olive oil with fresh ginger, spring onions and soya sauce.
Kale, steam together with curry powder and dried apricots, and dress in olive oil, apple cider vinegar and salt.
Red onion marmalade, dress with balsamic vinegar.
Reibekuchen, season with salt and pepper.

Pros:

Eigenlijk alleen de ligging en de vriendelijke ontvangst.

Cons:

Geen idee waar de 4 sterren vandaan komen, kan alleen het erg dure restaurant zijn. Ongezellig hotel, alleen in de weekenden is er reuring. Doordeweeks zijn er nauwelijks gasten. Diverse dagen alleen in de ontbijtruimte gezeten. Ontbijt was elke dag hetzelfde met tot vervelendst toe nadruk op BIO. Kamers zijn niet groot en balkons zijn erg smal zonder stoeltjes. Wel zitje op de kamer.
