Basic accommodation comfortable and practical
Pros:

Location and rooms were comfortable if a little tired

Cons:

Communal Kitchen area requires a complete overhaul and update, hot plates and cooker took an age to heat up and cook food properly. Utensils and cutlery old and worn require replacing.
Whole kitchen area was in complete contrast to the other areas of the motel and required a deep clean.

The bed was comfortable. The area was very quiet. Good facilities. Safe for kids

Cons:

The kitchen could have a better high level of clean. The bathroom was adequate, but you need good movement to get in the shower.

Satisfactory stay.
Pros:

The lodge is situated in a quiet area, surrounded by native fauna. We enjoyed listening to the sounds of the different birds and the view from the kitchen BBQ area. The kitchen was well-equipped. The room was adequate to meet our needs. Great that they had a pool.

Cons:

No air conditioner in the room. Restless nights due to the mugginess. Mosquitoes are a big problem, although they did have a warning notice in the booklet.
I don't mind that pets are welcome, but I would recommend keeping dogs on a leash.

It was pretty much perfect for what we wanted - an overnight stop close to Paihia.
Pros:

We did not have breakfast

Cons:

It was very hot throughout the night and I would have left the bathroom window open but for the fact it could have been used to access the rooms from outside. I might be nearly 76, but I remember from teenage years how easy windows were to enter home when my Dad locked the doors at midnight!

This property need a lot of updating. only saw one employee who said he was maintance. no check in people on duty but phone contact was offered.

Pros:

There was a message sent when the room was ready and the place was actually good as what we expected. The kids loved the pool right away. Really clean room however a little outdated but manageable. We love our stay, just the kitchen white wares needs an update.

Cons:

Bugs at night and kitchen needs to be renovated or at least replace the microwave and stroves.
