El anfitrión es amable y buena gente
Very cosy and close to beach place! Host is very friendly and accommodating. The bed and room are super comfy and the place is spotlessly clean!! Nice balcony and the neighbourhood is pretty quiet, though some decent restaurants are in a few minute's walking distance. Very very affordable!
Some people commented on no hot water. I was aware of this before booking and It's not a problem for me (i cold shower), but I think for a small surcharge, hot water would be available. For the price of the room, I think it's totally reasonable to pay a few euros extra if you want to have the "luxury" of hot water.
La atención recibida fue positiva, el anfitrión nos prestó unas toallas para la playa (que está muy cerca) y se nota que prepara la estancia con mucho cariño.
La cama era muy cómoda y sugiero este lugar como un sitio de paso para una o dos noches.
Por decir algo negativo diría que la presión del agua de la ducha era muy suave

A well equipped room and the owner gave us many recommendations. The bed is comfortable and there is even a sunny balcony.
There is only cold water which makes it very unpleasant to take a shower and let alone wash your hair. If that would be fixed this place would be 10/10.

Hot water would have been nice
Nice room. The host is much available.Nice to have a kettle in the room.I recommend this place.No hot water for the shower but maybe it was just exceptional.
Todo increíble!! Muy limpio y cómodo. Cerca de la playa y del centro y con una tienda debajo del piso. Lo mejor sin duda el anfitrión, nos ayudó en todos nuestros planes y se preocupó en todo momento de que estuviéramos cómodas. Sin duda, repetería!!

O Óscar foi muito simpático; deu-nos indicações corretas para encontrarmos o local e estava à nossa espera à porta para fazer o check-in. O quarto era simples, mas muito limpo, e a cama bastante confortável. A casa de banho era privativa. A localização do quarto é muito boa, super perto da praia.
A casa de banho não tinha água quente e a água saía bastante fria. A rede de internet era muito fraca e, por momentos, não funcionava.

The place was nice and clean with a large bathroom. It was a 7 min walk to the main beach and about 15 to the centre of town.
It's a room with the owner's flat, one co-shares it with the owner. So there's no real privacy. Had I known that before I wouldn't book it.
Ottima ubicazione di fronte alla spiaggia principale di laginha, camera e bagno puliti e sufficientemente spaziosi ideale per soggiorni brevi, molto basic.
Oscar è il nome del gatto che ogni tanto simpaticamente compare a fare un saluto.
Viene richiesto un extra costo per l’aria condizionata, acqua della doccia fredda, a Capo Verde l’acqua calda scarseggia, ma questa era proprio fredda.

The location is perfect, safe and next to restaurants, shops, public transport, ferry port and Laginha, the most beautiful beach in Mindelo. The owner was willing to help, was quite flexible and gave me accurate and useful turistical and local information about the neighbourhood, the whole city, the Carnival and visits to Santo Antão island. The room and the whole appartment is even better than on the pictures. I strongly recommend for your stay in Mindelo. The room is huge, with a comfortable double bed, more than enough storing place, towels, coffee, tea, kettle and kitchen access. The owner speaks fluent Italian, Portuguese and creole and even taught me some creole language basics.
