O Óscar foi muito simpático; deu-nos indicações corretas para encontrarmos o local e estava à nossa espera à porta para fazer o check-in. O quarto era simples, mas muito limpo, e a cama bastante confortável. A casa de banho era privativa. A localização do quarto é muito boa, super perto da praia.

The owner was very friendly and helpful. Simple but clean and all you need.

The place was nice and clean with a large bathroom. It was a 7 min walk to the main beach and about 15 to the centre of town.

Ottima ubicazione di fronte alla spiaggia principale di laginha, camera e bagno puliti e sufficientemente spaziosi ideale per soggiorni brevi, molto basic.
Oscar è il nome del gatto che ogni tanto simpaticamente compare a fare un saluto.

The location is perfect, safe and next to restaurants, shops, public transport, ferry port and Laginha, the most beautiful beach in Mindelo. The owner was willing to help, was quite flexible and gave me accurate and useful turistical and local information about the neighbourhood, the whole city, the Carnival and visits to Santo Antão island. The room and the whole appartment is even better than on the pictures. I strongly recommend for your stay in Mindelo. The room is huge, with a comfortable double bed, more than enough storing place, towels, coffee, tea, kettle and kitchen access. The owner speaks fluent Italian, Portuguese and creole and even taught me some creole language basics.

Excellent location near the beach. Bus stop very near, so a 5-7 minute ride to the city center or less to the marina, both also very walkable (15-20 minutes) 

Clean spaces, both the room and bathroom are impeccable.


Towels and even beach towels provided.


The room has a water cooker, coffee and tea etc, which is very convenient.

But you can also use the kitchen (and fridge) if you like.


Furthermore the room has a small table/desk with chairs and a (sunnny) balcony. So perfect if you want to work remote or have a nice quite start of the day and read/write etc.


The host/Tommaso helped me plan my trip to Santo Antão and I able to leave some of my luggage👌🏽


Supermarkt downstairs can exchange euro for a good rate.


Btw Oscar is the name of the cat 😺 not the owner/host. He usually keeps to his own quarter, but every now and then he wants to explore a bit.


You share a large appartment with the friendly and helpful owner, you have your own bathroom and room, so everything is great.

The owner was really helpful with a lot of information about the area and more.he helped us with taxi . really clean place .
Definitely we would recommend this place to anyone who needs to stay in Mindelo
