We absolutely loved everything about our stay. First of all, this booking was very last-minute due to an error I made with another property. I only realized the mistake around 8:30 PM, which meant we suddenly had no place to stay that night. We had traveled from Montreal for work errands, so we were already quite tired, and the situation could have been very stressful. Around that time, it was already close to 9 PM, and most of the affordable places I found had already passed their check-in time, which made me quite anxious. We were truly relieved to find this property.

The place itself is wonderful. We were especially grateful that a private parking spot was available for us at the time of booking, and we were not charged for it. We understand that if it hadn’t been available, we would have needed to use street parking with a fee, which would have been completely fine as well.

The late check-in option until 11 PM without any extra fees was also a huge help.

The location was easy to find, and our basement room was very accessible. When we entered, everything smelled really good and looked incredibly clean and well-kept, which made it feel very welcoming. There is a small dining nook with a microwave, as well as complimentary coffee and tea, which we really appreciated.

Our room had its own private bathroom, which was a big plus, and everything was spotless. Thoughtful touches like complimentary water, slippers, and small chocolates made our stay even more special. The bed was very comfortable, and even though we only stayed for a few hours, we were able to sleep very comfortably. The heating worked perfectly, and the hot water was excellent. The shower also had a handheld option, which made everything very convenient and hassle-free.

The hosts were incredibly accommodating and responsive. Communication was quick, and the self check-in process was very smooth and easy.

Pros:

The owner lived upstairs and was very friendly and helpful. Lovely room and shared kitchen. Easy access.

Cons:

Location was a little in the suburbs, but we didn't really research very well and cold have figured that out easy enough if we wanted. We had no car. If we had one all would have been great.

Quick getting in; quiet and comfortable.
Pros:

There was no breakfast. The location was easy to find and in a very nice neighbourhood. It was close to where we were going. So, very convenient that way.

Cons:

There was nothing that I could suggest to change. The room was fairly small, but that's what we expected for the price. We just needed a place to sleep and the bed was more than big enough.
