Good location and lovely rustic beach cabins. Comfortable bed. Having access to the kitchen was a big plus. The staff were always ready to help.

Nice little stay, close to everything, cosy design

Perfect cozy wonderland paradise. Very cute and well thought through details. Camping lovers will adore this place with all its amenities. Very clean. So much effort for extraordinary decoration. And such an outstanding charming atmosphere … we loved the treehouse feeling. Just a few steps to the beach. Lovely staff. We hope we’ll be back one day.

Cocokabana Rote is an idyllic hidden gem just next to Nembrala, with easy access from the backdoor shortcut. The colorful cabanas create a dreamy, boho atmosphere full of creativity, making it the perfect place to relax and soak in the island vibes.

The shared shower and toilet are well cleaned, and despite being a communal setup, everything feels tidy and well-maintained. I visited during the low season, so I had the whole place to myself, which made it even more peaceful. The location is perfect, right on the main street and close to everything you need.

Martha has a great fare to rent motorbikes and she's super nice !! All team is easily reachable if you need something.

For digital nomads or anyone needing to check in on work, the WiFi connection is surprisingly good, a rare find in such a remote spot! Also, the nights are comfortable, not too hot, so sleeping is easy.

If you're looking for a great meal, I highly recommend Warung Om Nus just nearby. They also have boatmen available to take you out surfing, which is super convenient if you're chasing waves.

Overall, Cocokabana Rote is a magical little escape, blending charm, comfort, and the best of island life. Definitely a place worth staying! ✨🌊🏝️

We had a wonderful two-week stay at Coco-Kabanas. The place was incredibly artistic, with many small details that created a fantastic atmosphere. The staff was lovely, especially Sandra. She was exceptional, taking care of us every day with a warm smile and ensuring that our room and the entire property were spotless. Sandra assisted us with renting mopeds, doing laundry, grilling my freshly caught fish under the coconut trees as locals do, cutting fruits, and even offering a daily coconut treat. She was always there for us, making our stay even more enjoyable. It was really great to meet her!
The beach is just a short walk through the palm trees, less than 100 meters away. We even had an ocean view from our bungalow, perfect for a morning swim in the crystal blue water. Right next to the beach is a resort open to the public. A one-kilometer beach walk will lead you to the boat guys who offer rides to the closest surf spot for 70.K IR per person. Alternatively, you can take your moped on a five-minute drive for daily surfing, which I recommend if you're planning to surf a lot.
There is a supermarket nearby with ice-cold water and beers, and several restaurants close by. One standout is Warung Mbak Jawa, offering local food like nasi goreng for only $2. Further up, you'll find Fishbone, known for its high-quality bread, pizza, and burgers. It's a fantastic place, and I highly recommend staying here.

Great style, peaceful and relaxing, great location, great people, good value for money

Quirky, cool, homely, comfortable, and naturally made bungalows. A private hang out space as well as a common area. Frendly staff, close to beach and tland. And u don't need air-conditioning the bungalows stay nice and cool 😎 👌 I'm already thinking of when I can come back 😉

Wow what an amazing place to stay. I was very lucky being the only guest here and having the whole place to myself. This is the perfect place to stay if you just wanna get away from everything and be close to the beach (1 minute walk) the facility has an open kitchen where you can cook your own little meals.The host Lea is so sweet and checked in with me to make sure I was all okay. She also took me to her favourite beach spot which was a lovely little afternoon trip. She has decorated the whole homestay with shells that she picks up from the beach herself. Very calm and quiet but just what I needed. The sunset was so beautiful and the water was clear blue. Highly highly recommend! And I hope to see Lea again one day!
