Pros:

Beautiful property that is made in traditional kerala style architecture, just next to the backwaters. You can sit and enjoy morning tea while watching tranquil water of lake vembanad.

Cons:

Staff needs more training otherwise they are polite.

Nice hotel, good staff, will be nice once renovations are complete, a bit far from local amenities
Pros:

The aesthetics of the hotel from the outside and the room were very good. The swimming pool and grounds were very nice and the staff were accommodating and tried to help as much as possible. The area and scenery were amazing.

Cons:

We stayed for 10 nights, during that time we had hot water for 3 of the days without us having to complain. Our room was on the 5th floor, floors 1 to 4 were under major renovation, and we were woken on Xmas day to drilling at 9am. we were a little disappointed about the restaurant, we were told that we were visiting during the busy period but they only had half the meals shown in their menu. Also the hotel was quite a distance from local amenities, so if we wanted to go to the local shops we had to get a taxi each time. Not sure it was worth the money we paid for the stay.

The location
The property itself is very well designed
Very clean rooms and you get the peace you want

Cons:

The staff are really sweet but they are very new and still in the learning process.. we had issues with hot water in our rooms and no one other than the owner knew how to fix the valve issue. The staff did arrange hot water in bucket for us but it was not so convenient as we were only staying for a day and had booked a room with bath tub which we could barely use. Nevertheless great people I think they just need some more experience to handle customers :)

Well maintained lake vembanad property
Pros:

It is a beautiful property on Vembanad lake. Beautiful sunrise views from the property.

Cons:

The staff at reception were not very communicative - they were just administrative in nature. Toiletries were limited. Bedsheets had not been replaced- there were marks (replaced as soon as we told them)

Not so good food. Gym was not working, swimming pool was not clean, bed smell in bathroom, repaired but we have to shift the room finally. Room Service not professional.

New property, huge rooms, good staff at affordable price, great location, Clean linens, rooms
Pros:

it is a brand new hotel with some really good fixtures and furnishing. Being new, all linens were new too and clean. The location is right on the water front and the boat for the backwater tour came to the hotel itself which was very convenient. The hotel is still in its finishing stage (Not yet completed on this day) and hence some of the facilities were non-working.

The rooms were very big and well appointed with a large king bed and other furnishing.

The staff at the restaurant namely Mr. Rajeev was very good to help with out requests. The hotel arranged for a boat ride for our group at a decent price too.

The hotel parking is good and accessible inside the hotel making it very convenient.

Cons:

The breakfast was not included in the hotel price and we had to select the food from the limited menu. However, the staff tried their best to fulfill our requests.

Pros:

Beautiful resort next to lake

Cons:

Still heavily under construction. Rooms lack basic needs like a locker, refrigerator and even toiletries. We did not get room cleaned even we stayed two nights. Overpriced food ( 100 rupees for one piece of roti) and almost borderline exploitative.

They tend to give you a 4 star resort vibe from pictures but very poorly managed.

Amazing spot for a family holiday.
Pros:

The hotel is located in a really beautiful place. The property is stunning and well maintained. The rooms are very spacious. The restaurant and room service were great and the staff (especially Rajiv) were really helpful.

Cons:

There was no hot water in the rooms we booked. They could add more facilities to the property e.g. Spa or Gym.

Beautiful backwater views, spacious rooms, and a great traditional breakfast.
Pros:

TRAVANN Hotel in Alleppey was an amazing experience! The views of the backwaters were stunning, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel is large, offering plenty of space for kids to play and enjoy. One of the highlights was watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee, as they had placed chairs outside towards the backwaters for guests to fully enjoy the view. The breakfast was also great, with a variety of delicious options, including traditional local food. A perfect place for a relaxing stay.
