Pros:

Calm friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Food was spot on. Staff were cheerful and happy to help.

Clean and comfy, basic accommodation.
Pros:

Convenient location for my plans in the area. Clean room. Nice breakfast included and friendly staff at breakfast.

Cons:

The man on reception when I arrived was not welcoming & didn’t provide any information at all. This is not a good first impression for guests.

No staff around in the evening in the restaurant / bar area.

Walls were very thin and I could heard the guest on the next room continuously coughing all night it drove me crazy.

Nice hotel, village location, breakfast good but didn't feel particularly welcome.
Pros:

We have stayed once before, the room has always been clean and comfortable. The location and parking are fine.

Cons:

The basic booking in greeting wasn't even to be called friendly, after a long drive it would be nice to feel welcome, rather than say your name, be handed a key then find your own way around without a smile .

Perfectly acceptable, but a bit faded and dated compared with some of the photos on the website.
Pros:

Room was good with plenty of tea/coffee etc, plus a bowl of fresh fruit.

Cons:

Food was OK, but expensive for what it was.

A perfect country Hotel
