J’ai adoré l’emplacement de cet homestay .notre hôte Karun est un jeune homme très enthousiaste et plein d’énergie, qui nous a organisé notre balade dans les backwaters, la cuisine de sa maman est excellente. De plus il est entrain de mettre en place 2 autres chambres plus confortables que la nôtre. Je recommande cet établissement.

The property is lovely and the family who runs it is absolutely fabulous. They were undergoing some renovations so they will have new rooms and facilities for the end of 2026 and the love and care of the famly is out of this world.

Don't miss the food!! Make sure you grab dinner as it's beyond yummy!!

We had a wonderful stay at Riverroots.Although we stayed for only one night, we truly wished we could have stayed longer.
Karun were very kind, friendly, and welcoming. The hospitality was exceptional, and we received a very warm welcome from the host.They made us feel at home and took great care of us throughout our stay.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well- maintained. Everything was arranged perfectly for a relaxing stay.The peaceful backwater surroundings made our stay truly relaxing.
One of the highlights of our visit was the beautiful kayak trip through the backwaters. It was a peaceful and unforgettable experience.

Karun looked after us like gods with the best service we’ve had all over India. The stay was comfortable with great dinner and breakfast. A shame we could only stay one night as any opportunity would bring us right back 🤩⚡️🤙

Excellent service

The staff was helpful and really interractive . He was warm and welcoming and it was the best part of the stay. Bathrooms were clean. It had most basic amenities like soap , working fans and AC. The guide helped us explore around and we are grateful for that.

Stayed at Riverroots Homestay in Mundro and it was a truly beautiful, enjoyable experience. The view from the property is absolutely stunning.

We really enjoyed the boating. It was peaceful and the best part of our trip.

Karun was an excellent host. Breakfast was delicious & catered to individual requests. Getting a boat trip & other travel organised from the property was easy with the help of Karun & his family.

We maakten tijdens onze vakantie een tussenstop van 1 dag op Munroe Island om even tot rust te komen. De kamers waren netjes, de gastheer vriendelijk en het eten (zowel in de ochtend als in de avond) was heerlijk. We deden de boottocht ‘s avonds en konden genieten van een prachtig uitzicht en zwommen in het meer. Zeker een aanrader dus! Als je wat langer zou blijven, kan je ook nog een kajaktocht doen. De gastheer helpt met het aanbieden van activiteiten!

My stay at Riverroots on Mundro Island was absolutely wonderful. Host Karun made us feel like family from the moment we arrived — warm, attentive, and genuinely caring.

The place was spotless and well-maintained. Every meal was home-cooked, fresh and tasty.
We enjoyed a wonderful boating experience,which made the trip more special.
The peaceful surroundings, clean rooms.This trip one of the most memorable I’ve had. If you’re looking for a homestay that’s cozy, clean, and full of heart, Riverroots is the place.

Loved the stay.. it felt very peaceful after a long..travelled solo and had a very good day at the riverrootstay and also the kayaking & canoi ride was superb!!
