‘We cannot replace him’‼️
Pros:

Karun looked after us like gods with the best service we’ve had all over India. The stay was comfortable with great dinner and breakfast. A shame we could only stay one night as any opportunity would bring us right back 🤩⚡️🤙

Best to visit during tourist season, in the later part of the year.
Pros:

The staff was helpful and really interractive . He was warm and welcoming and it was the best part of the stay. Bathrooms were clean. It had most basic amenities like soap , working fans and AC. The guide helped us explore around and we are grateful for that.

Cons:

The kitchen had no setup for making food etc and cleanliness of the kitchen area could have been improved. No dishwashing soap etc. The dinner order is limited and is to be placed by mid afternoon. Overall we felt cleanliness of the place should increase more.

Amazing stay at Riverroots Homestay🌿

Stayed at Riverroots Homestay in Mundro and it was a truly beautiful, enjoyable experience. The view from the property is absolutely stunning.

We really enjoyed the boating. It was peaceful and the best part of our trip.
Special thanks to our host, Karun. The service was excellent. He took care of everything for us and made sure we were comfortable throughout.
The whole stay was beautiful, relaxing, and enjoyable. Everything was clean and well-maintained.
Highly recommend Riverroots Homestay if you’re visiting Mundro.We’ll definitely be back!

River Roots - a great getaway
Pros:

Karun was an excellent host. Breakfast was delicious & catered to individual requests. Getting a boat trip & other travel organised from the property was easy with the help of Karun & his family.

Cons:

Bathroom was a little smelly & had a few cobwebs. Didn't like sitting at the same table for breakfast with other guests, as I had gone for a quiet break.

Perfect stay for a good price!
Pros:

We maakten tijdens onze vakantie een tussenstop van 1 dag op Munroe Island om even tot rust te komen. De kamers waren netjes, de gastheer vriendelijk en het eten (zowel in de ochtend als in de avond) was heerlijk. We deden de boottocht ‘s avonds en konden genieten van een prachtig uitzicht en zwommen in het meer. Zeker een aanrader dus! Als je wat langer zou blijven, kan je ook nog een kajaktocht doen. De gastheer helpt met het aanbieden van activiteiten!

A truly heartwarming stay at Riverroots!

My stay at Riverroots on Mundro Island was absolutely wonderful. Host Karun made us feel like family from the moment we arrived — warm, attentive, and genuinely caring.

The place was spotless and well-maintained. Every meal was home-cooked, fresh and tasty.
We enjoyed a wonderful boating experience,which made the trip more special.
The peaceful surroundings, clean rooms.This trip one of the most memorable I’ve had. If you’re looking for a homestay that’s cozy, clean, and full of heart, Riverroots is the place.

Perfect hosts in Munroe
Pros:

A wonderful homestay experience in Munroe Island! The family was incredibly warm and welcoming, making the stay feel very personal. A special highlight was being invited to join them for a local temple festival with their whole family—such a unique and memorable experience.

They also serve delicious homemade food, and Karun was happy to arrange a peaceful boat tour through the baclwaters.

Die Unterkunft hat eine gemeinschaftsküche, ein Gemeinschaftswohnzimmer und Esszimmer.
Sehr sauber, sehr freundliche Gastfamilie, die uns mit zum abendlichen Fischen mitgenommen hat.
Die Mahlzeiten waren richtig lecker. Man sollte das Essen von dort in Anspruch nehmen. Kaffee und Tee wurde bereitgestellt, es gibt einen Kühlschrank. Host hat uns alle Aktivitäten geplant.

Cons:

Klimaanlage ist direkt über dem Bett, was leider zur Erkältung führte. Ungünstig platziert.
