The staff were really really lovely and the location was decent. The place looked clean and aesthetic but that’s about all the positives of this place. The owner did refund us (for reasons stated below) after the first night for our next two nights which was amazing and we really appreciated this.

Cons:

Unless you’re a young, beautiful looking person with a Big Mac laptop that you’re going to be working on all day, this may not be the place for you. My boyfriend and I are 22 and wanted to splurge for our last accommodation. This was not a good choice. The pool is tiny, it’s basically a plunge pool. The atmosphere is off, the place is so busy all day with people working, we felt like we had to whisper while in the pool. We stayed in the budget rooms across the road, for the price, these are absolutely not worth it. We stayed in the same kind of rooms around Sri Lanka for $300 AUD less. The air con didn’t work, the door didn’t lock properly, there was no wifi in the room!! There were people filming themselves talking with a microphone all around - I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you’re a digital nomad.

Pros:

Lovely little boutique hotel, set back into the jungle, my fave road in Ahangama! Perfect loco and still 5 mins away from the beach!
Everyone is super friendly you feel very safe as a solo traveler and the food is great!

Ett måste om ni besöker Sri Lanka!
Pros:

Otroligt hotell med fina rum, vackert poolområde, bra mat, trevlig och duktig personal samt så najs vibe.

Hotellet ligger i ett villaområde och det var lugnt på kvällarna, vilket var väldigt skönt. Förutom hotellets resturang fanns det även andra alternativ i närheten.

Ägarna var supervänliga och hjälpsamma. Gav bra tips och det märks att dom är måna om personalen och landet.

Pros:

It was very clean and the staff were lovely.
We stayed in the property just outside the main space like 30m away and it was perfect because it wasn’t in the middle of it all.

Die Pool-Area war sehr schön und das Essen schmeckte sehr gut.

Cons:

Mein Zimmer war in einem angrenzenden Haus und nicht sehr modern, das Fenster war kaputt, weshalb viele Insekten den Weg in meinen Raum gefunden haben. Ebenfalls hatte es Mäuse o.ä. Auf dem Dach was es verunmöglichte bei ihrem nächtlichen Rennen einzuschlafen. Das Badezimmer war voller Ameisen.
