Although The Regency Bristol has very limited parking facilities, there is restricted on-street parking around the hotel vicinity as well as a secure car park within 10 minutes' walking distance. You are welcome to drop off your luggage prior to parking.

Great hotel for a 1-night stay
Pros:

Room should have an iron. No lifet as old building but rooms with high ceiling so feels good.

Nothing really as the hotel room was very dirty and there was what definitely looked like vomit on the carpet and around the edges of the divan bed the room was definitely not cleaned before I went in there the paint work in the room was very grubby and the carpet looked like it hadn't been vacuumed for a while
Fixtures and fittings loose and not worth 75 quid me and my partner stayed in the room for around a couple of hours and then I stood in what I'm certain was vomit and that was the final straw so we left and came back home

Pros:

The Host. So very helpful and kind.
Went the extra mile for me a couple of times

Location is excellent. Great bar and restaurant across the road.

OK for the price.
Pros:

Great location, quite close to centre.

Cons:

The room was OK but not very clean and a minute window - this will overheat like crazy in summer! There could have been another cushion to actually sit upright in bed properly. The bathroom was OK but a major leak at the sink made it rather wet.

Stayed out of the room as long as we could.
Pros:

Location.
Gentleman on the desk was friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Dirty room. Carpet stained and had to be hoovered, as looked like it hadn’t been in days. Divan was stained. Mattress stained and bedding had marks on them. Only a thin sheet between you and a stained mattress.

Room is nothing like what is advertised. I honestly think we had the staff quarters. No side lights, only a main light. Wipe was black after wiping the coffee table. Dusty. The bathroom floor wasn’t clean. No toilet paper. The bathroom fan was filthy. It was just so unclean.

WiFi was rubbish.

Had no where else to stay as Bristol was busy with students being dropped off, hence why we were there, otherwise would have left.

I didn’t expect the Ritz as the prices were reasonable but it certainly wasn’t the four stars it purports it to be.

I would advise anyone not to stay and also found out after that the place has had bed bugs. Not surprised.
