Heerlijk hotel in de groene heuvels
Pros:

Het hotel ligt op tien minuten lopen van het dorpje Lanquin in een prachtige heuvelachtige groene omgeving. Het zwembad (eigenlijk drie baden) zijn erg ruim en groot.
De kamers waren heel ruim en de airco deed het uitstekend.
Bij het hotel zelf kun je (tegen betaling) ziplinen; na een aardige klim naar boven ga je via drie lijnen weer naar beneden. Aanrader!

Cons:

We hadden ontbijt mee geboekt, maar je mag dan maar uit drie ontbijten kiezen van het a la cart ontbijtmenu.
Op de kamer is geen koelkastje of kluis aanwezig. Ook is er geen wifi op de kamers; die werkt alleen in het restaurant en bij het zwembad.
Prijskwaliteit-verhouding was niet helemaal in orde. Behoorlijk aan de prijs.

Best in Lanquin
Pros:

Maybe the best accommodation in Lanquin, in a beautiful forest. Tents are super clean, and well equipped, like the common areas as well. Three pools, quite relaxing stay, you don't want to go anywhere else. Staff is super kind!

Cons:

No WiFi in tents, and the restaurant is a little bit overpriced, but the quality is fine. I recommend to stay in tent instead of room. Rooms look to the car park, while tents are in a natural surrounding.

La comunicación con el número telefónico en la página fue pésimo. Contestan en Coban y no les importa lo que uno solicita. Y ni se toman el trabajo de contestar.
Y por otro lado éramos los únicos en el hotel y nunca arreglaron nuestra habitación. Ni siquiera fueron capaces de cambiar las toallas

BLOSS NICHT BUCHEN!

Schöne Lage in der Natur, wenn auch nicht ruhig.

Cons:

Die Kommunikation vorab war eine Katastrophe. Wir haben 3 Tage lang versucht die Unterkunft zu erreichen, um unseren Aufenthalt umzubuchen. Ich war kurz davor, einfach woanders zu buchen.

Hätte ich das mal lieber gemacht…

Direkt bei Ankunft wurde uns versucht eine überteuerte Tour anzudrehen.
Der „Service“ war unprofessionell, um nicht zu sagen stümperhaft. Im Restaurant musste ich der Bedienung klipp und klar erklären, dass man so mit Gästen nicht umgeht (ewige Wartezeiten, keine Aufmerksamkeit). Anschließend war sie sehr bemüht.

Unser Zelt war stark verschmutzt und ließ sich nicht abschließen, da der Reißverschluss defekt war. Auch die Luftfenster waren alle kaputt, ebenso wie die Glühbirnen vor dem Zelt.
Alles war von minderer Qualität und wir haben uns wirklich nicht wohl gefühlt.

Für zwei Eier extra beim Frühstück pro Person wurden uns insgesamt 40Q berechnet. Ich wollte den Manager sprechen, doch der tauchte nie auf.

Der Transport nach Flores hätte in Guayaha exakt das doppelte vom normalen Preis gekostet.

Alles in allem ist dieser Ort eine einzige, schamlose Abzocke.

Très Bruyant
Pros:

La chambre était spacieuse mais un peu sombre, la climatisation très silencieuse et efficace. Salle-de-bain très agréable. Joli jardin et la zone d'accueil et restaurant pourrait être très agréable, mais malheureusement gâchés par une musique assourdissante et constante - nous avons donc dîné à l'extérieur pour avoir un peu de calme, vraiment dommage.
