Good sex bad river!
Pros:

The soft lush bed. Really good for sexy time! It was truly the perfect spot.

Cons:

The stinky river... But it's everywhere in the city so like...whatever. keep the balcony door shut

Exceptional Stay - The Best Hospitality in Weligama!
​We had an absolutely incredible stay at Bayfront Weligama, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.
​Location: The location is unbeatable. It’s right on the first line of the beach—you literally just cross the road and you're on the sand. Being right in the middle of Weligama Bay is perfect; it’s only 15 minutes to Mirissa, 15 minutes to Midigama, and about 20 minutes to Ahangama. It’s the ideal base for exploring the coast.
​The Hotel & Rooms: The rooms are beautiful, modern, and recently renovated. The air conditioning works perfectly, the Wi-Fi is stable, and the bathroom is great with a new glass shower. We also loved the Crab House restaurant on-site—the food was delicious!
​The Staff: What truly sets this place apart is the team. They are the kindest, most welcoming people I’ve ever encountered on a vacation. Prashanthika, the manager, Rasindu (evening manager), and Kavindu (restaurant manager) were always there for us with a smile, making us feel completely at home.
​We also want to give a special thanks to Prasad from housekeeping. He is such a smiley and kind person, always ready to help with any request. He was a huge part of the overall experience that made us feel cared for and right at home. A big shout out also to Praveen and Dinil from the kitchen team, who were also incredibly attentive.
​A Moment of True Care: One of my friends got injured on the reef during a surf session and developed a fever. The staff went above and beyond, driving to buy a thermometer for us and refusing to take any money for it. This level of care gave us such a sense of safety and trust—you just don't find this everywhere.
​Value for Money: Even without all the extra care, the value for money here is exceptional. I will definitely be coming back to Bayfront on my next trip. If you are coming to Weligama, do yourself a favor and stay here!

Very nice place in center and close to everytging, very quite even placed near cafes and music
Pros:

We travelled with a friend and there were not almost none rooms in hight season and we booked another hotel prior to Bayfront but it was horrible! One we came to Bayfront they were so nice to let us move in there hotel a day earlier and were nice and friendly. They also invite us fo free on bbq night and 1st Jan ceremony. On last day they let us put all the staff up to midnight and also helped to prepare box of go out rotti for christmas night!

Cons:

Wifi and more often cleaning would be great, but everything else is amazing!

Cons:

1. Didn't look like the pictures
2. I was promised king size room with sea view balcony - no view, obstructed by big trees, apparently that should be expected
3. Bathroom lock was broken
4. Worst breakfast ever
5. Pillowcases were torn
6. The most ugly experience and conversation I have had with the owner - was made to wake up and pay up at 11.45PM at night (we had prior alignment of paying during checkout only.)

Worst experience, highly recommend not staying at this place :)

Duże wygodne łóżko

Cons:

Przydałby się niewielki remont w budynku i pokojach. Okna na taras, na ktorym siedzieli ludzi sprawiły, że musieliśmy mieć cały czas zasłonięte zasłony.

Были внимательны к просьбам, вежливый и отзывчивый персонал, вид из окна на море, просторная комната, отдельная душевая, что является большим плюсом.

Cons:

Комната не была готова к прибытию гостей, все было убрано, но постельное белье с пятнами, а в холодильнике плесень — после обращения к персоналу все исправили. Было бы здорово оставить холодильник работать даже после ухода.

Fun and convenient stay!
Pros:

The location was very nice and the view from the room was very nice. The room was clean and the staff was helpful. Free bottled water available. A/c was working very well!

Cons:

Food was below average and the rooms were not soundproof.
