Staff did everything they could to make sure I was happy. Very very kind. Included breakfast very good and very substantial. Lovely old building and garden kept very nice.
It’s an older house and a few things are showing their age, like the toilet paper holder needs better attachment to the wall. But very small things, didn’t take away from enjoying my stay.

Hotel Butsugen is an extremely well run hotel, incredibly clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable. The location is also great for access to the Stupa but also a little set back from the main busy areas.
The best part is the lovely owners that make you feel so welcome and at home during your stay. I will definitely stay here again if I am in Boudha.

Ideally located close to the Boudhanath Stupa yet in a quiet neighbourhood. Really helpful staff. the owners are available and made every effort to feel that I was more like a visiting family than a guest.
