Recommended
Pros:

Very comfortable stay and very friendly hosts. Late arrival and early departure was no problem.

Cons:

Some intermittent road noise, but it was ok. I had a good night sleep.

Pros:

The hosts have a lovely house and were very welcoming and flexible with my arrival and leaving times. The room was comfortable and was perfect for my stay whilst visiting Oulton Park on the weekend. Being able to use the kitchen for meals was a definite added bonus.

Nice rooms, well presented with parking - unclear bathroom description & a few improvements needed
Pros:

Lovely clean and good size room. Comfortable bed & pillows, fan provided which was great, good having the addition of a shared fridge on landing and fresh milk provided, good quality water glasses. Nice size TV. The linen and towels provided smelt lovely & fresh. Good communication during booking process and friendly welcome from Tom on arrival. The property is well presented with good parking facilities and use of a large shared family kitchen and there is a lovely rear garden. Within short walking distance of town and canal with nice places to have drink or eat.

Cons:

Jack & Jill bathroom was an unwelcome surprise, as advertised as a shared bathroom which is a different thing as not accessible from other guests bedrooms. This bathroom set-up didn't work for us as noisy with locking and unlocking of doors from interlocking rooms including our own, getting up in the night to use the toilet disturbed partner due to having to unlock the door, on edge in case other room forgot to lock the door and no hand towel in bathroom meaning dragging wet hands into bedroom to use bath towel. Noisy guest came back at 11:45pm and 3 times tried to get into our locked room, waking us up then proceeded to use the bathroom whilst leaving his interlocking bedroom door open with fairly loud TV/music on. No teaspoons provided at the tea & coffee station on the landing. In the morning woken by other guests bedroom door banging and other self-closing doors banging from fairly early in the morning on the landing below our room and hosts dog barking several times. Not that we were late sleepers, alarm was set for 9am but woken around 7:45am. Persistent traffic noise unable to leave any window open and could still hear this with windows closed. Black out blinds needed as Venetian blinds let in the light and no curtains. Second bedside lamp needed and room lacked hanging space. Polyester duvet set didn't work for me, made me feel itchy and hot. Host are property are lovely just need to address a few issues.
We looked for Tom when leaving to advise of the issues experienced but couldn't find him so apologies Tom for not advising you in person prior to the review, something we would normally do.

A decent room, the jack & jill bathroom was wired, the main problem was the road noise.
Pros:

Large clean, comfortable room, off road parking, WiFi and smart TV.

Cons:

The room overlooks a large roundabout on a busy transport route with lorries from about 3 am.
The jack & jill bathroom was a bit disconcerting as it could only be locked from the inside meaning whoever was in the other room could access your room.

Perfect hosts, super accommodation and excellent value.
Pros:

A warm welcome and made to feel at home. Arrived by bike heading north through Manchester to the Dales - so for me an ideal location with the bonus of secure bicycle storage. Very comfortable room with exceptionally good bed. Fridge accessible - welcome addition in such hot weather. Would definitely book again without hesitation.

Cons:

Nothing - met my expectations in full.

Séjour agréable, propriétaire très sympathique, salle de bain partagée entre les 2 chambres.
Pros:

Accueil très sympathique et très arrangeant. Lit très confortable, chambre spacieuse.

Cons:

Salle de bain partagée, donnant de chaque côté des chambres (système Jack & Jill). Quand le voisin se lève à 6h, il vous réveille ! Stores, pas de rideaux aux fenêtres, prévoyez un masque.

Nice room at the top of the house - up 2 flights of stairs.
Pros:

The bedroom and facilities were as I expected. The shower although small was hot and the bed comfy. We had the place to ourselves as our hosts were out

Cons:

The hosts did not communicate well and so we arrived and no-one was home as they were at a wedding for the evening but hadn't told us. They had told us about a key in the lock box but not where our room was. Once they replied to our message it was all sorted but better communication would have been nice.
