The room was lovely, spacious and clean. The bathroom had a good size shower and was kept clean and organized. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessities and it had a microwave, refrigerator, table and chairs. The other residents were quite as mice. The host was absolutely wonderful, caring and friendly. She made sure that anything I needed was available and that I can reach out to her if anything comes up. Wonderful stay. It was such a great experience that I would stay there on a permanent basis if possible
Absolutely nothing loved the experience
This was a room only in a home, but had an en suit. We knew it was minimal, so no great expectation. We were warmly greeted by the manager and he took us to the basement room and explained the layout. There was a kitchen down the hall with toaster, etc. Slippers were provided as it was very snowy outside. The room and en suite were spotless. The price was right...cheap. Bed OK. Very good for the price.
As a basement room, we had no control over heat and it was quite warm over night. As well, we would have liked two pillows instead of one. It was quiet (even though there were two other rooms in the basement...don't know whether they were occupied). The floor above us squeaked a bit when people walked, but not a great annoyance, No major issues. The price was right. (No sugar was provided...bring your own, coffee, and milk, etc,) No TV, although this didn't bother us. All communication was via email and would have liked a telephone call when requested.

Double beds are clean and spacious for two persons
Bathrooms are also clean.
1.The kitchen and dining table were not cleaned for a long period of time.
2. Kitchen utensils were inadequate. Only the fridge and microwave were user friendly whilst the electric kettle and toaster were too old to be used.
3. According to the picture description of the house, we can see a stove top with the oven were installed in the kitchen. But they were dislocated when we moved in. It seemed that there was a misleading advertisement given by the host via Booking.com
4. Notices to remind customers to behave themselves as well as ways of using equipments were posted everywhere in the house i.e. kitchens, bathrooms, entrance of bedrooms, windows, mirrors, etc
5. Five persons of our group booked 3 bedrooms but were arranged in different floors (one on 1st floor and two on basement). At night time, the door connecting basement and ground floor were locked by the host. Customers on basement were not able to access to the 2 bedrooms on the 1st floor.
6.There were CCTV cameras monitoring the corridor of each floor especially the one on the basement capturing the activities of customers at the kitchen and dining table.
7.The entrance carpets (both at ground floor and basement) were worn out and dirty. Customers were told to take off their shoes and walk on it before entering the house.

Nice Host, clean and quiet room, accessible communication with the host. I will recommend this place to anybody who travelled to Toronto. Jessica also prepared some nice coffee to us. Thanks so much111
