Pros:

We liked the ambience above all - a little island of calm.The morning energy was beautiful with bird songs, rustling leaves, and easy breakfast (Indian/Bengali). The staff were really kind!

Cons:

The toilet facilities work but could be improved, and worth keeping a mosquito net in the room.

Relaxed stay in nature
Pros:

Wonderfull spacious bungalow in a big beautyfull garden. We could see the deer in the deerpark from the grden, and sit among birds and butterflies..Helpfull and polite staff, they made our stay very comfortable. Delicious food.

When you want a quiet retreat near Kolkata choose this place.
Pros:

The location is probably the best that one can find in Santiniketan. From room # 3 through the wide glass window you can see the Ballavpur sanctuary just across the property’s fence. The quiet of the sprawling complex, and the extremely accommodative Management and its friendly staff made our stay relaxed and enjoyable. The food was delicious!
If you want a fulfilling experience choose either room#3 or room #5. Both have forest view and balcony.

On the edge of Ballabhpur forest you can sight deer and rare birds, very close to Vishwa Bharati
Pros:

Outstanding location with lovely heritage furniture. Sincere and committed staff.
