We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this unique and beautiful property. The location itself is stunning, set beside a historic abbey and surrounded by peaceful natural scenery. The combination of the old stone church and the modern, thoughtfully designed cubicle-style rooms creates a very special and memorable atmosphere.
Our room was modern, comfortable, and perfectly integrated into the landscape, with beautiful views and plenty of privacy. The bed was especially comfortable, and the short walk between the main abbey building and the room was easy and pleasant.
One of the highlights of our stay was the restaurant. We enjoyed lunch, dinner, and breakfast there, and every meal was outstanding—creative, high-quality, and truly delicious. The setting inside the historic abbey made the dining experience even more special.
We traveled with our dog and spent a few wonderful days exploring the surrounding area, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, the property is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and very well designed. We loved our stay and would gladly return.
Although the cubicle-style room was modern and beautifully designed, it was significantly smaller than we expected. With two suitcases, space quickly became very limited, and we had to keep our luggage on the floor in the middle of the room, which made moving around and accessing the bed somewhat uncomfortable. There was a small area to hang clothes, but it was not sufficient for a multi-day stay, and there was no proper space to store empty suitcases, which made the layout feel less practical than it could have been.
Another important point was the lack of reliable internet in the rooms. While Wi-Fi was available in the main abbey building, restaurant, and library, it did not reach the cubicles. Fortunately, we had our own portable Starlink, which allowed us to stay connected, but this could be a challenge for guests who need internet access from their room.
There was also an unusual built-in bath or shower feature inside the room itself—a square, sunken structure that felt awkward and impractical. It was too deep and rigid to be comfortable as a bath and did not feel functional as a shower either, so we did not use it during our stay.
That said, the balcony and views were wonderful, and overall the experience was still very positive thanks to the beauty of the property and its surroundings.
