beautiful property
the host Becky is currently trying to scam us. she wants us to pay her £420 to replace the 3 carpets in the property due to an accident our dog had whilst unwell. we have offered to pay the cost of cleaning, but she is being persistent and rude. we have photos anyway. she also wants £50 to replace the bedding because of dog hair and muddy paws (though again we have photos) and the dog hadn’t been anywhere to get muddy paws, and she advertises it as dog friendly.
It's an exquisite location with easy access to public footpaths and gorgeous landscapes. High standard room with the right self-catering basics. Very welcoming atmosphere.
It was very cosy, spotlessly clean and beautifully designed. The host had paid attention to small details that really made a difference, for example having a coffee machine available with coffee pods and biscuits!
The setting was lovely and quiet. It was very clean, great bathroom with really good shower. It was warm (a little too warm for us). Big towels. Facilities were good.
The bed is really on the small side so we didn’t sleep very well. All you need is placed behind sliding wardrobe doors - unfortunately they kept coming off. No tea towel to dry wet cups and dishes.
Thank you for a very pleasant stay. It was a lovely cosy retreat from the awful weather and I particularly appreciated being able to warm up in a hot bath. Everywhere was so clean and tidy and well looked after. I left the key under the pot.
Room is beautiful, plenty, of room for us and our 2 dogs. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable, really can't fault it. Becky was so helpful, always replied to our queries promptly. Location is beautiful with fantastic walks right on the doorstep.
Klein appartement maar van alle gemakken voorzien. Heel schoon en je kunt altijd Becky een berichtje sturen voor tips en dergelijk. Parkeren voor het huisje. Heel hondvriendelijk!

Very clean and with attention to details. The apartment has everything you need. Amazing for a weekend stay.

Captiva est idéal pour loger dans le Peak District, à proximité de tous les points d'intérêts. Le logement est parfait, agréable et plein de petites attentions. Becky est très gentille et prévenante. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.
Just right for me and my little dog. Had everything I needed there whike visiting friends in Derbyshire.

The place was in a quiet neighborhood, most restaurants were nearby and some were within walking distance.
The room was clean and tidy, the host offered a coffee station with coffee pods which was really sweet. There was some milk in the fridge too.
No breakfasts were provided
