The view was out of this world, and the hotel itself was so unique. The rooms are actually carved into the caves.

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome and tranquil. The view is exceptional in the morning (the sun rises over the mountain and the hot air balloons are visible in the air) and at sunset. The food and service at the restaurant was top notch h.

Taskonaklar is must-stay on a trip to the Cappadocia area.
Pros:

Taskonaklar might be the most wonderful place we’ve ever stayed. We upgraded to a suite with spectacular view of Pigeon Valley. Our suite included an extensive outdoor deck, lawn and eating area. The room was rustic in the most classic and beautiful way with pole ceilings, fireplace, and large couch. What made our stay exceptional was the level of service from all employees. It sometimes felt like they anticipated our every need but they were never intrusive or pretentious. Breakfasts were more than we could ever eat and presented at our table in such a lovely way that we were almost tempted to photograph them.

Cons:

If one has mobility issues, the stairs to the multiple levels of the hotel could be a problem however we noted there were rooms on the main entry level.

Everything was very good. I just think that they can be more accessible for old age people who want to enjoy an authentic cave hotel but accessibility is an issue as they won’t be able to climb up and down too many stairs. Resul on front desk was very helpful and catered to everything that we needed for my parents who are in their 60’s perfectly.and breakfast can be more elaborate. Emir was very helpful and very pleasant in monik. He catered to everything perfectly at the restaurant with a pleasant smile.

We absolutely loved our stay at Taskonaklar. The architecture is stunning and you can really feel how much care went into preserving and honoring the original cave spaces instead of turning them into something generic. The hospitality was warm and genuine from start to finish, and everyone made us feel so welcome. And Moniq deserves a special mention — both dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious and among the highlights of our trip. Such a beautiful, memorable place. We would happily stay here again.
