施設全体がアート！お部屋では心地よい繭に包まれたような暖かい感覚を体感。窓からの眺めはまるで絵葉書のよう。滞在中ほとんど窓を全開状態で眺めていました。
お食事は一皿一皿独創性に富んでいてとても美味しかったです。こだわりの器も素晴らしかったです。

ロケーション、建物、食事が良かった。スタッフの親切な対応も素晴らしいです。

All the staff in LOG is super nice and friendly. Both breakfast and dinner here are excellent! Highly recommend. I’ll definitely stay in LOG again when I visit Onomichi next time:)

Beautiful architecture, fantastic dinner and breakfast

저녁 식사는 파인다이닝 수준이었고, 이불이 진짜 너무 좋아서 집에 사가지고 가고 싶을 정도였어요.

Profound poetic experience

This was an amazing stay! We were there for 6 nights, and the attention to every little detail was incredible. Since we were working during the day, we spent most of our time at the library, and at some point, they made us feel like it was our workspace.

The breakfast service was outstanding—huge thanks to the gentleman with glasses! He was fantastic (sorry I didn’t get his name).

Noriko (I hope I’m spelling her name correctly) from the reception was also extremely helpful!🫶 Since Onomichi is a small town, many local shops require reservations in Japanese. She not only recommended great places but also helped us with reservations, which made our experience even better.

We fell in love with Onomichi, and LOG was the reason why. This isn’t just a hotel; it’s an experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond. Japanese hospitality is already exceptional, but the team at LOG elevated it to an entirely new level.

The design of this hotel is simply breathtaking. Every space is thoughtfully crafted to capture natural sunlight, with delicate walls wrapped in stunning Japanese paper.

We had both breakfast and dinner at LOG, and each meal was a delight. The fresh, high-quality ingredients were beautifully presented, making every bite memorable.

LOG is more than a place to stay—it’s a retreat. Take time to relax, step back, and truly immerse yourself. Whether you’re sitting alone or with a drink from the coffee shop in one of the serene outdoor areas, you’ll find yourself connecting with the surrounding environment.

Do yourself a favour: stay at LOG for a few nights. Slow down, savour the moments, and don’t rush the experience. This is a place meant to be enjoyed at its own peaceful pace.

I recently stayed at Log. and it was the best service I’ve ever received from a hotel. From the moment I arrived, every staff member I interacted with was exceptionally professional, warm, and attentive. What truly impressed me was the consistency of service across all staff, whether it was the front desk, housekeeping, or the restaurant team. They all went above and beyond to ensure my stay was flawless.

The attention to detail and genuine care made me feel valued as a guest. Everything was handled smoothly and efficiently, leaving me relaxed and well taken care of. I can’t recommend Log enough for anyone seeking top-notch service.

5mins uphill walking from Sakura parking, perfect base for visiting the mountain top. Comfy, clean and luxurious in a very simple way. Staff are extremely welcoming and helpful.

Meal was also fantastic, enjoyed both dinner set and breakfast.

Location, room and staff were perfect. Breakfast and cafe were lovely! The attention to detail and atmosphere was calming and classy. Staff carried out bags down 100 stairs when we left. So kind.

This is a stunning property - the rooms are simple and refined, and the setting is very serene. We had a beautiful view of the water and the town, and the breakfasts were elevated and delicious in all respects. Location is great both for walks up to Senkoji Temple and park, as well as down into Onomichi. If we hadn't stayed here we also might not have encountered the little cafes and bakeries tucked away in the hills. That said, getting to LOG requires a fairly steep climb up a series of stairs/inclines, and you will find it hard to bring rolling luggage (which we did not do based on other reviews). Most decently fit people will find it doable but it may not be for everyone.

The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxed, nothing felt rushed so we could enjoy spending time in the room. The breakfast was also amazing.
