Good location, about 20 walking distance from train station and khiva ancient city.

-First given room (103) had extreme smell of sewage (long existing problem, not fixed by hotel management, easily fixable by adding a siphon to the sink) however used, although other rooms were available. We asked for another room after one night.
-Laundry only possible payed by piece - full machine would be about 20$, inappropriate for Uzbekistan, no compromised price possible, even when offered to dry it by ourselves
-Location far away from city center (25min walk), not doable in night-time, difficult to get a Yandex due to offset location
-Not really motivated staff
-DON'T OPEN THE FRIDGE (Very bad smell, not usable in both rooms)
-First room was not well prepared when given, beds had to be rearranged (double bed booked), had to ask for amenities
The bed is supercomfy, everything is really clean and the staff is amazing. Thry kept making improvements to the kitchen and the common area to make it more comfy.
Location is perfect aswell!
Our second room when I requested to change our room in the third morning ( from 4 days in the hotel), the reality changed 100% after this change.
1. Our room with number 205 was not in conditions to rent for customers, bedsheets and pillows were used with personnal hairs when we arrived, we told for the staff and they changed at the moment. Even booking offered me to upgrade the room por 12 dollars....I was requested if was possible to change the room and pay more if it was necessary.
2. Bathroom had plumbing smell and was without ventilation on it....we hada to kept closed the door because if not the stinky smell was in the full room.
3. Room had just a window that if you opened everybody that was walking in the corridor could see you in bed.....the room was an inside room with the only way of ventilation.
4. The room s window was completely in front of a second window where the sunrise was knocking your eyes....because was not curtains or something similar in both windows.
5.After de second day I was requesting If was possible to change the room because we didnt enjoy our stay in the room and the receptionist in 5 minutes offered us another room.....since this moment we started to enjoy much more our stay in the hotel. What is very SAD and DISAPPOINTING is that if I dont request to change the room nobody from the hotel/staff was thinking about how solve our disaster plumbing room.
***My advice for the Hotel is to closed the room number 205 to be available for book and fix the issues about Plumbing smell in the bathroom and put some curtain or blind in the window as well.

J'ai dû réclamer une serviette de toilette, les petits déjeuners sont servis de 9h à 10h, j'ai demandé 7h30, la personne a accepté.
Le matin à 7h30, lorsque je me suis présenté, on ne m'attendait pas du tout.
Un couple de personnes m'a préparé un petit déjeuner, improvisé, heureusement qu'ils étaient compétents.
Donc ,je ne peux pas parler de ce buffet de breakfast vu sur la photo

Budget guesthouse with basic facilities
Friendly staff who try hard. Breakfast terrace by the Canal is lovely. Maybe some lights there too so travellers can socialise in the evening if they want? Quiet and peaceful location. Good value for money really.
Just avoid the interior room with no curtains to corridor and smelly plumbing in the bathroom and non working fridge and it will be really
fine. About 20 mins walk to Ichon kala, but nearer the train station.

Petit déjeuner bon et copieux.
Position is good. 15 min walk to main sights, Citadel, and same to Train station. You pass all by river channel. Hotel is placed by that river channel too, so more fresh air and more windy helped to enjoy outside reading by the water.
Good breakfast, what i couldnt eat i put in the refrigerator in my room. Free water, cofe, tea. TV, air condition.
Bed was comfortable, no mosquitos at all. Mosqito net on windows in anycase.
Some books in Hotel would help.
