Alavya was absolutely amazing, their team, the rooms, everything. One of the most considered places I have stayed, they think of absolutely everything. The massage in the spa was exceptional. Breakfast was fantastic. Beautiful pool and garden area. Extremely helpful concierge suggesting and booking restaurant etc. Our room was spacious, light elegantly furnished. just gorgeous.

Cons:

The location in the middle of town meant that a noisy bar/club next door gave us lots of loud music after 10pm until about 1:30am, they did everything to make up for it, including offering a room change but we needed to wear ear plugs. Such a shame as it is incredibly tranquil. and this only happens in July/August I gather.

Pros:

Alavya Hotel is a truly charming retreat set within a beautifully restored stone house that blends traditional Aegean aesthetics with understated luxury. The pool area is a highlight — elegantly designed and perfect for a relaxing afternoon, especially with the attentive poolside drink service. The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated, and very comfortable. I particularly appreciated the seamless communication via WhatsApp both before and during my stay, which made everything feel personal and efficient. The complimentary in-town transport was a thoughtful touch, and the hotel’s location right on the lively pedestrian street is unbeatable. The on-site restaurant offered warm service, and the yoga class was unexpectedly intense and energizing — a real stand-out experience.

Cons:

The spa attendants were unfriendly, and the sauna was not functional during my visit. Several cardio machines in the gym were also out of order. In the room, I encountered some unpleasant surprises — dirty brown water came out of the bathtub initially, which was both unhygienic and off-putting. The Wi-Fi was unreliable at times, making it difficult to stay connected, and there was no convenient space to charge or use a laptop, which made working from the room frustrating. Additionally, while the staff were well-meaning, many struggled with English, which occasionally made communication challenging. These issues, though not dealbreakers, took away from the overall sense of polish and comfort that the hotel otherwise strives to offer.

one the greatest hotel in ALACATI,
Grate Service, Wonderful, very nice staff, they always make our stay the best it could be.

Stunning hotel with incredible food and drink!
Pros:

This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in - the property is stunning, the staff are incredible and the food and drink exceptional. Every detail is thought through and while it’s not cheap, it’s not too expensive - the prices are fair considering the level and quality. Cemre at reception also helped me organise a surprise breakfast on the beach for my husbands birthday and it was beautifully done, he loved it. Everyone at the hotel was also super helpful with restaurant / local recommendations. Couldn’t recommend this place more, will 100% go back!

Pros:

Everything is very well thought of. A luxurious sanctuary in the middle of old Alacati town.
Attention to the smallest detail.
A wow stay, service, everything…we extended our stay and left with an intention to come again.

It was a very relaxing and intimate stay. Every worker had a great heart and treated us kindly.
Pros:

Loved the ease of the property to navigate with a toddler.

Cons:

Nothing truly negative to say, if I had to say something I wish the pool was heated but it was still perfect after a glass of wine.

Alavya offered us a slice of paradise
Pros:

The most spectacular hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff, from the receptionist, the drivers, the waiters, to the cleaners, all made us feel welcomed and special. Our room was fabulous, every little detail was carefully thought of. The hotel provided completely treats throughout the day, such as late night snack to your room, bubbly while at the pool and fruits.

The pool is phenomenal, the most peaceful place. You have a jacuzzi as well as a good sized pool to swim. Super clean!

The breakfast and dining area is very cute and perfectly designed. The food is fab all around!

Overall, this hotel offered us a slice of paradise.
