Lovely room and pool but do really need a car to stay here.
Pros:

Lovely room and bathroom and a great balcony (especially once we were provided with a table) with views over the countryside. Pool was small but good although no shade (either parasols or trees) and only a few chairs. Breakfast was delicious. Gardens were very pretty and the hummingbirds were great.

Cons:

We didn't have a car so the location, a 10 minute car journey to Cahuita, was a problem. Karen arranged for us to be dropped off and picked up, but it really did feel isolated, especially as the restaurant was not open in the evening. (We were offered the option of ordering food which would be prepared before the chef left at 2pm and reheated but that was not very satisfactory). To be honest, if we'd only stayed a couple of nights these issues would not have been a problem but five nights was way too long.
The room was only cleaned once, when we requested it, rather than daily as advertised.

Superb
Pros:

The hosts are super helpful friendly. The breakfast is excellent, they make something different every morning. They have a minibus and were kind enough to give us a ride to Cahuita trailhead and pick us up from the village in the afternoon. The pool is clean and there's plenty of room to hang out around it. The rooms are spacious and very nice with comfortable beds. Two sinks in the bathroom.

Cons:

There's a road next to the property so there's some noise from the cars passing by. Also there's no beach access for kilometres. Best to have a vehicle.

Nice room and bathroom, comfy stay but a little overpriced
Pros:

The room is very nice and neat! Very nice bathroom with a tub and jets. Bed was very comfy. Parking lot was very good, with enough space. Service was good

Cons:

Internet connection is too slow and very unstable, so this is not an ideal location in case you need to travel for work or rely on good internet connection.
Breakfast is ok, but it could be better on the quality of ingredients and portion sizes. Cofee machines with unlimited coffee would make it better.
Price is too high. If the internet is too slow and breakfast is that simple, I would expect less per night

Nice but pricey stay
Pros:

The room is nice and spotless clean. The shower is with good pressure and warm water. The breakfast is great and one of the tastiest we had in a while. When we had to depart early, it was possible to get breakfast before the breakfast hours. The pool is very nice to relax. The staff is friendly.

Cons:

The hotel is in some kind of "soft opening" state. So everything seems to be quite "new" for the staff. You can feel that, when communicating with the staff, especially in case you have special requests or questions. Also, quite some of the information on Booking.com are not correct. E.g.: The room is not 320qm (well, we didn't expect it to be that size), the facilities are not all there (it looks like they just checked all of them) and the location is wrong on the map (hence wrong distances to beaches displayed). While we're usually not picky, we expected somewhat more there, given the quite high price per night. The WiFi was really slow in our room. While everything is quite good, it was not very good value for the price.
