Amazing breakfast with breathtaking views! Location is perfect for exploring the old part of town. Right next to the church, monastery and several good restaurants. Really enjoyed a tour of the cellar while hearing the history of the building from owner, Otto. He’s a fascinating character that really made our stay one to remember.
Pillows were too flat for my taste. An extra pillow or fluffier one would be nice but I still enjoyed my stay. I would definitely stay here again.
Lage, Zimmer,
Otto was the perfect host and gentleman. He took time to explain the history of the ‘little castle’ to us and show us around. We enjoyed a sunny afternoon and beautiful sunset from our balcony which had a stunning view over trees and fields.
The beds were a little hard but this wouldn’t stop us from staying here in the future!

Super Lage, historisches Ambiente, sehr nettes, hilfsbereites Personal.
Da fällt mir nichts ein
We stayed in the family apartment, which exceeded our expectations. Although in the pictures you can only see two bedrooms, the space is much larger - with three bedrooms and potentially a fourth one that can be used to accommodate a total of 7 people, plus two common spaces as living rooms, three bathrooms and a kitchen. Besides, the apartment has its own garden.
Everything was extremely clean and well organized. The whole area is quiet and the people are very welcoming.
Breakfast was delicious!
We wish all the best to the family running the hotel!
Not a problem for us, but just to be aware that the three bedrooms we used are on the second floor with stairs. However, for people who cannot climb stairs, there is a separate bedroom with its own bathroom and kitchen.
Hotel with personality and lovely owner. Great location.
Family owned boutique hotel in the old town of Rothenburg. The service by the owner Otto is legendary and very accommodating. The house is packed with history similar to the whole town.
The hotel has onsite parking, however it can be a bit tricky to find the location as google maps and waze struggle to pinpoint the exact location of the hotel. If you are arriving late, make sure to call ahead as the reception closes at 10pm.
