Magical stay, incredible location!
Pros:

Otto and Gabriela were wonderful hosts. We got the "annex apartment" which has its own private garden. It was a magical place to enjoy the sunsets from. The location is perfect - walking distance to the main square in old town.

Cons:

The apartment has 4 bedrooms, 3 of which are on the third floor via a spiral staircase. If anyone in your group has mobility issues, you can put them on the ground floor that also has a full bathroom. Everyone else will need to be upstairs. This wasn't a problem for us, but just something to be aware of.

Most beautiful and yet the quaintest hotel in all of Rothenburg.
Pros:

The hotel has been in Otto's family for over 800 years. The history behind this hotel certainly is special. The view was also unbeatable.

Pros:

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I had a truly wonderful stay at burg Hotel . The property itself is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by stunning scenery, and offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well maintained.

What made my stay even more special was the gentleman , named otto at the front desk. He was an elderly gentleman who was incredibly polite, kind-hearted, welcoming, and exceptionally helpful throughout my stay. His genuine hospitality made me feel at home and left a lasting impression.

I would happily choose to stay at this Hotel again for two reasons: the outstanding hospitality of the front desk staff and the beautiful property itself. Both made this an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable stay in rothenburg.

The most charming hotel you will ever stay
Pros:

This is the most charming place to stay. Our family stayed in the family house next door while our parents stayed in the hotel, and it worked out perfectly. Otto and his family were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay.

The breakfast was wonderful, the views were beautiful, and we especially loved spending time in the rose garden. The location couldn’t have been better and made it easy to explore the area.

Our visit happened to be during a heat wave, so the lack of air conditioning made the rooms a bit warm. Opening the windows helped, but it’s something to keep in mind if you’re visiting during unusually hot weather. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily return.
