Easy access to a number of Kumano Kodo Trails. Lovely rooms. Spacious and clean and private. Breakfast was excellent and so is the cheesecake. Warm greetings and kind reminders. Very helpful too.

Really friendly hosts and a nice room with plenty of space. We unfortunately didn't get to see the rock formations because of rain, but did have a lovely time.
Parking was really tricky as the spots are quite small and traffic can come fast.
Amazing family run homestay. Very accommodating hosts and very helpful. Very peaceful location. Just a short drive away to the town. Room was clean and included all basic amenities . Covered parking was a plus.

良い意味で外観のイメージとは異なる内観で、ゆったり過ごすことができました。11名でシングルルーム、ツインルーム以外にファミリースタジオという離れも利用しましたが、特にファミリースタジオからの眺めは最高で、仲間たちとオーシャンビューを堪能させていただきました。
ウェルカムスイーツの手作りチーズケーキも最高でした♪
また熊野に行くことがあればぜひ利用させていただきたい宿です。
It was a wonderful stay and I truly enjoyed it! The host family was incredibly warm, helpful, and always available. They provided maps with great local recommendations for restaurants and activities. Since the location is a bit remote without a supermarket nearby, the small minibar stocked with instant ramen, snacks, and ice cream was a fantastic touch. The location is beautiful, offering a stunning view of the Pacific Ocean right from the house and a small beach just a 10-minute walk away. It is also right next to the Onigajo World Heritage site, making it perfect to start the hike to the unique rock formations. On my first day, I was welcomed with a delicious piece of home-baked cheesecake for free, and the homemade breakfast itself was also absolutely amazing. To top it off, they even gave me a spontaneous lift to the train station - such amazing hospitality!
Since I booked very spontaneously, my room faced the back wall and didn't get any natural daylight. However, this wasn't a big deal because they have a little backyard with a nice terrace that they let me use when I asked. Plus, in such a beautiful area, you don't want to spend much time inside anyway!

国道のトンネルを出てすぐの場所で、少しわかりづらかったです
虫がダメなのですが、季節がらカメムシやその他小さな虫が居て、ビクビクしました
朝バイクにはたくさんのカメムシがいて、全て退けるのに汗かきました
周りにほぼお店などがなく不便です

建物自体は古いのかもしれませんがレトロ可愛いお風呂や洗面台はとても清潔感がありました。ベッドやソファは新しく、こちらも当然清潔感満載！チェックイン後はチェックアウトするまで全く気を使うことなく快適にすごせました。
あえて良くなかった点をあげるとしたら、シャンプーがリンスインシャンプーでした。私はいつも持参するのですが忘れてしまっていたら少し困ったかもしれません。

The rooms were really clean, and the bed was comfortable
The property faces a freeway, which is not really clear from the pictures. It looks like it is in a street in town. Instead it is after a tunnel on the freeway and you can’t really walk anywhere comfortably from there. Moreover, we did not find real flexibility and hospitality. The property was vacant and we asked to check out half an hour later, they said no and also threatened that if we did not check out in time they would make us pay 10000 yen.
