Pros:

Absolutely beautiful location. Tranquil, scenic and restful. Helpful, kind and friendly staff. Delicious food. Great facilities. Overall, this was a little slice of heaven and I wish we could have stayed longer!

Mystica is a beautiful, comfortable, and peaceful retreat.
Pros:

Absolutely gorgeous setting perched on a hilltop overlooking Lake Arenal. The property is lush, beautifully manicured, and surrounded with views from all round. There are hidden gems around the property, like the open air yoga studio on the banks of a river, a natural dipping pool with its own waterfall, a small sauna that you could rent, and trails leading to places where you can find calm and quiet. The breakfasts were lovely and substantial, as were the dinners; and the restaurant staff were so gracious and responsive. Rooms are uniquely decorated, each with a modern bathroom, luxury shower, and the most comfortable bed. Mystica just breathes sustainability, and is a perfect place to relax and unwind.

Cons:

It’s a bit out of the way so you need a car.

Agréable séjour mais cher pour la prestation.
Pros:

La gentillesse du personnel. Nous étions les seuls clients, mais ils nous ont servi le dîner, qui était très bon et la cheminée était même allumée. (faut dire qu'il ne faisait pas chaud). Les jardins magnifiques. Jolie salle de bain.

Cons:

La chambre était jolie, mais très rudimentaire, chère pour la prestation. Pas de peignoirs, pas de slippers, pas même une chaise. L'emplacement un peu isolé.

I liked being there…colorfully painted dining room mm furniture, beautiful grounds
Pros:

Very interesting space on the property… a yoga deck in the forest right on a creek. I like that the furniture is colorful and there is some hand painted artwork on the doors and walls.
Lovely views of the lake.

Cons:

It felt oddly strange as there were no other guests to be seen anywhere.

I like the mountain setting and the surroundings.

Cons:

We had a jungle room and you could hear the windmills at night I know its not the hotels fault but I am just not a fan of windmills as they ruin the country side

Beautiful site. Well maintained. Clean. Friendly staff. Great place to stay and relax and enjoy the beautiful grounds and views. Yoga, sauna, dipping pool, meditation. It was just an amazing experience.

Pros:

Mystica is one of the original ecolodges in Guanacaste/Lake Arenal area. The grounds are beautiful and location is very convenient.
