Depuis de longues années des amis m'avaient vanté le Platjador mais malheureusement je n'avais jamais réussi à y dénicher une chambre libre aux périodes qui me conviennent. Mais là enfin c’est fait, j'ai pu y passer une grosse semaine et j'en reviens ravi au point d'espérer y pouvoir retourner bientôt. Belle chambre avec une grande armoire (ce qui souvent n'est plus le cas dans des hôtels plus "modernes"), douche balnéo, balcon avec vue sur la piscine et surtout un superbe lit géant et confortable avec des coussins comme il faut. Sans oublier le grand buffet de petit déjeuner jusqu'à 13 heures (!), idéal pour les nombreux noctambules et lèves-tard logeant à cet hôtel à même pas 5 minutes de marche des principaux bars et tout autant jusqu'à la plage. Sans oublier la piscine (ou plutôt Spa en plein air), la citronnade offerte à toute heure, la belle vue du bar rooftop et surtout surtout la gentillesse du personnel. Et pour ceux qui viennent en voiture il y a même quelques (rares) places disponibles dans l'un des grands parkings de la ville à tarif très réduit par rapport au prix habituel.
Deux trois petites réparations de certaines des installations de la piscine-spa seraient le bienvenu, et peut-être changer la moquette dans les couloirs d'étages et escalier

A massive bed in an average size room. Good view of the surrounding beachfront area.
Very good breakfast - quality and variety was excellent.
The hotel is looking very tired and worn. It could do with a fresh overhaul and upgrade.
On arrival, I requested from the staff member on reception assistance with the air conditioning as the air in my room was very hot and uncomfortable. He complained about missing his train but then reluctantly improved the air conditioning. It was fortunate that the sea breezes kept my room cool and fresh.
Brilliantly located by the sea and in the middle of town. A nice pool area, and a fab rooftop bar. Good breakfast too!

The location cannot be beat! It is right across the street from the beach and was right in the middle of everything we wanted to do.
Our room faced the back of the building and faced an apartment that was in very poor condition. The front desk staff should alert guest who have this view because it was shocking. If we were to return to this hotel we would request a room at the front.
We loved it and we are definitely coming back 💙

Huuuuge bed and spacious room. Nice breakfast. Very good closet space. Good air conditioning, and it's great that they both have a pool (floor 1) and a roof top bar up top.
This does not give a "luxury feeling", instead it feels homey and friendly. Location right by the water is absolutely splendid.
Didn't love the bed and the pillows. Would have like softer sheets. But got used to it quickly!
