The fire alarm went off every day, nothing really was done about it.
Got locked out and couldnt get back in. Code was not working. Staff hardly speaks english, the safe didnt work and they had us waiting 50min to fix it.

Staff needs to be trained ASAP . When I arrived to do the checkin 2 guys talking to each other instead of taking g care of the client. When I got my room the TV control didn't work and we informed it at the front desk telling us we need to wait x maintenance person, so weird, nobody went to che k that so at night 9:15 I had to very upset what happened, meaning the full day with NO TV. It's incredible that the issue was resolved in less than 5 min when one person change the remote.Seems funny but at the same time you can observe the inexperienced personnel in charge at that moment. Looks more than ARBMB than a hotel, never ask if we need the room to be cleaned or taking off the garbage, etc, etc.

Crec que està bé, però no es pot catalogar de 5 estrelles, ja que hi ha molts aspectes a millorar. Per a mi seria un hotel de 4 estrelles.

We stayed at this hotel in Punta Cana for three days, expecting a true 5-star experience, but unfortunately it fell far below that standard.

Upon arrival, we were assigned a room facing the road, advertised as soundproof. This was not the case at all—traffic noise was clearly audible, and early in the morning, construction work began at 7:30 a.m., making it impossible to rest. In a 5-star hotel, soundproofing should be effective and any potential disturbance—such as nearby construction—should either be communicated in advance or avoided entirely through proper room allocation. Additionally, the room was missing towels and the safe was not working. While the towels were delivered after about an hour, the safe remained unusable throughout the stay. Basic amenities should be fully functional and checked before guest arrival.

Breakfast was equally disappointing, with very limited options and served in a restaurant outside the hotel. At a 5-star level, guests expect a rich, varied breakfast offering, ideally on-site, with both buffet and à la carte options. Even more surprising, we were asked to pay an additional $3 just for a small amount of milk in the coffee—something that should unquestionably be included and never treated as an extra charge in a hotel of this category.

After raising our concerns, we were moved to another room. While it was quieter, it was again missing essential amenities: there was no hairdryer, and the safe was still not working. We only received the hairdryer at 9 PM on our last night, after requesting it multiple times over two days. In a true 5-star hotel, such requests are handled within minutes, not days.

Furthermore, the room was never cleaned during our stay. Daily housekeeping is a fundamental standard in any luxury hotel, often including even twice-daily service.

The checkout process was also extremely frustrating.

Personnel désagréable - pas de petit déjeuner possible sur place - fenêtre abimée - mauvaise insonorisation - environnement très bruyant - pas d'article de toilette (pas de savon)

The place is a bit far from the beach, about a 10-minute taxi ride (600 DOP each way). The reception staff were slow, and I didn’t like that the price shown on Booking.com is not what you actually end up paying upon arrival, which I found very unusual given my extensive travel experience. Because of this the receptionist had to pretty much go through this process to every new customer that came in, hence why the service was slow. This happened also with another hotel in DR.

No 1o dia não tivemos água quente, o que foi resolvido no 2o dia e o telefone para comunicar com a recepção não funcionava.

Although the hotel and facilities were nice, it's not super close to the beach. It's around 20 minutes walking. It's not bad, however, the road to go to the beach is not nice, there are no lights, the road is very bad and it doesn't look safe. We had to take a taxi to go and get back from dinner. It's not related to the hotel, it should be government structure to improve the beach and place for tourists and locals.
