From Hauptbahnof Stuttgart (Central Station Stuttgart): Take the trains S2 or S3 towards the airport. Hop off at Echterdingen station. From there, it's just a five-minute walk to our hotel. From Airport: Stuttgart International Airport (STR). Follow the signs for Leinfelden-Echterdingen, keep left in the direction of L.-Echterdingen, then take the first exit L.E.-Echterdingen-Nord. After entering Echterdingen, our hotel is on the right. Access via Nikolaus-Otta-Strasse. North: The hotel can be found on the right as soon as you enter Echterdingen. Parking is at the back of the hotel which you can access over Dieselstrasse. South: Autobahn Motorway A8 coming from Munich. at the motorway junction Stuttgart Zentrum, stay right and follow the signs for Leinfelden Echterdingen. Then follow the directions for LE Echterdingen and take the first exit, LE Echterdingen Nod. East: Follow the signs for Leinfelden Echterdingen. Take the exit, LE Echterdingen Nord. West: Follow the signs for Leinfelden Echterdingen. Then follow the directions for LE Echterdingen and take the first exit, LE Echterdingen Nord.

Die Anmeldung bei der Ankunft hat sehr lange gedauert. Die Rezeption war nur mit einer Person besetzt, die aber super freundlich war.

It is a good hotel for us to sleep after a long travel and to get rested for the next day of travel.
Pros:

Have stayed here a few times before, it is for us mid way between Croatia and the Netherlands, so when we get tired this is a good option to stay overnight.

Cons:

It is a bit absurd that you have to book online and cannot walk into the hotel to ask for a room after a long travel. We just drove 900 km, so just like in the old days it should be possible to simply walk in and get the same rate as online. For some reason it all of a sudden costs euro more money if you did not book online, while the amount of work for the staff is identical. Booking online while driving is not really a safe activity.
Be more customer friendly and especially when you have a hotel close to a highway, you should expect people to be walk in guests.

In addition, the hotel does not serve any food, which in itself is not a problem. But it would be customer friendly to simply tell the guests that just outside the hotel there is a great buffet which is open until midnight. We have stayed multiple times in this premier inn, but this was the first time we found this restaurant and that was not because the staff told us about it. There was quite a number of other guests checking in, most of them wondering where they could eat. The staff could have simply told them, especially since the staff themselves eat in this restaurant (according to the staff of the restaurant).

Preiswertes Hotel für einen Zwischenstopp
Pros:

Sehr preisgünstiges Hotel und praktisch auf einer Reise nahe der Autobahn gelegen. Die Zimmer waren sauber und das Personal freundlich. Ein bequemer Sessel war vorhanden, um nicht auf der Bettkante zu sitzen. Das Bett war bequem. Für einen Zwischenstopp und dem günstigen Preis war das Hotel gut.

Cons:

Zimmer war sehr eng, so dass kaum Platz vorhanden war, um einen Koffer abzustellen. Es war am Schreibtisch ein Stahlrohstuhl vorhanden der von der Konstruktion so instabil aufgebaut war, dass er nach vorne kippte wenn man aufstehen wollte. Der Stuhl ist dann in den Rücken gefallen und man ist dann ebenfalls nach vorne gefallen.
