Transport and local information: Hotel is less than 10 minutes walk from Blackpool North railway station and opposite Talbot Square tram station.
There should be a box of tissues in the bathroom.
The hotel location is great and you can park nearby at a discount.
The checkin staff are uninterested and unwelcoming, they have no personality and give the impression of not wanting to be at work.
I did not see any inclusive members of staff during my stay.
An overnight stay with friends to visit Christmas Markets in Birmingham. Great location and the staff were amazing. We booked into a Premium room which was very nice but lacked some of the extras but this was rectified but sadly no sweet treat as head office hadn’t supplied them!
Good location next to Brindley place with a 20 min walk into town. Restaurants and bars 5 mins walk away. Supermarkets 5 mins away. Comfortable stay. Parking easy. Greated by Jack on reception who was welcoming, friendly and efficient. Thank you.
We were very impressed with the hotel. Location was great and the price was good considering where it was. Got a discount of the car park which was just up the road with plenty of parking spaces. The room was lovely and quiet even though it was in the middle of busy blackpool. Shops were within walking distance of we needed anything and it was right next to the pier and sea front. The check in was quick and easy. The room was very comfortable and breakfast was delicious and easy to help yourself. Overall a very pleasant experience and we would definitely stay here again!
We had such a lovely stay and the hotel was spotless. Location was excellent (even if the weather wasn’t)! We slept wonderfully and actually bought a Premier Inn duvet online as it was so cosy, even the nightclubs around didn’t really bother us too much (apart from a constant beat until 4am) didn’t spoil our stay though. Will definitely be back next year.
STAFF: Front of house staff greeted us with a warm welcome and assisted with us booking in electronically.
CLEAN: Communal areas were very clean.
Bedroom: Bathroom was exceptionally clean. Bed was clean although bottom sheet (not fitted) had a hole in it. Bedroom walls had various splatter marks on most walls as well as above the wall mounted tv. Units all clean.
FACILITIES: Kingsize bed with pull out bed underneath. There was also a sofa bed. Extra pillows available in open wardrobe. 1 bedside light did not work as well as the main desk light. We had a kettle, two tea bags, two coffee sachets and 4 small milk pots. There were no spoons or cups. These were collected from front reception.
Shower gels were in a Baylis and Harding bottle although did not smell of what was on the bottle and was quite dirty around the top seal suggesting these bottles are topped up. If this is the case and you have a skin complaint then best to bring own toiletries.
SLEEP: Bed was exceptionally comfortable. Blackout curtains ensure only small amount of light entered the room in the morning. Very quiet until around 8am
FOOD: There is a restaurant in the hotel but we did not eat there.
MISCL: 5 minute walk from Blackpool North train station, Sainsbury's and 10 minutes from Blackpool tower and other attractions.
Christine was amazing, a warm welcome and checked in quickly.
She was able to let me check in slightly earlier than I thought, which was great.
We actually arrived 90 minutes early and were lucky enough to be allowed to check in at no extra cost (usual check in 3pm). Our room was on the ground floor close to the hotel stairs. There was a low humming noise which we could not locate, but as only here for one night it wasn't too much of a problem. The room was clean if a little tired. The only downside was the extremely smelly shower curtain which really needs changing. You'd be wise to change to a shower screen or similar as is the case in many of your other hotels. The evening meal and breakfast were both very good. Jack was there throughout and managed to juggle his receptionist and restaurant duties with a smile, what a pleasant chap he is, and a credit to Premier Inn..
This is by far one of the best premier inns I have stayed in!
The location is excellent, being just a few minutes' walk from Blackpool North train station and directly facing the North Pier. This makes it an ideal base for exploring Blackpool.
The staff are consistently friendly and go above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay.
This was our third year staying at this location, and we definitely plan to return again next year.
Rooms and location are ideal. Lisa, the Duty Manager is so welcoming and friendly. She goes above and beyond in her role in helping people.
Excellent customer service. All staff and especially Lisa on reception were welcoming and very attentive. Breakfast was fresh and delicious.
Great location, but that's where it ends. Bad smell in the room and worse in bathroom. We reported this but no better. Shower was on full heat with temperature lever solid so could not lower temperature. We reported it, then the on/off lever was so loose we didn't risk it falling off, so washed in sink the best we could. The bed was rock hard and uncomfortable. We've been here many times, but now they charge for parking. Whereas previously it was in with the price. Unless you want a full English, it is expensive at Brewers Fayre for just cereal. This Premier Inn needs a refit, so the room doesn't smell. Our friends found a used pot of cereal just under their bed. We only gave it a 2 star because on previous visits all was superb. Otherwise it would have been a 1 star. We didn't get a good night sleep.
Great service from Jack and the other staff. Had a great time staying there and I would definitely stay again in the future.
Thanks Nemo for being so welcoming and helpful to me after the last train to Exeter had left Birmingham New St , leaving me without anywhere to stay.
You’re a real star. The Room was spotless and very comfortable. Perfect for me as a weary traveller. Ps I love your name too. 😊
Excellent location, right outside the train station. The staff were so friendly, kind and helpful. Despite it's location in the heart of the city, there was minimal noise and the hotel was very clean. We had a twin room and the bed was squeaky but the facilities were great. We have already said that we'd definitely stay here again and plan to return next year.
After having a very stressful day, we arrived late at night and were quickly checked in and accommodated by both Becca and Rasool. Thank you both so much for all of your help, we really appreciate it!! Lovely and clean rooms, with a great value breakfast
Room was very clean, quiet and comfy. Bed especially comfy and good shower. Lighting also very good and easy temperature control. The hotel entrance is fairly unremarkable bordering on dingy. But the lift takes you to reception and you soon forget about the ouside as it is pleasant enough. Check in was totally devoid of any cheer or interaction, no pleasantries to make you feel welcome. Check out similar, not even a hope you have a good journey or a goodbye.
Great location, 2min walk from New Sreet station. Close to Bullring for shopping & walking distance to Xmas Market & Cathedral Market.
Hotel has 7 floors, make sure you ask for 2 keys if 2 of you sharing as a key card is needed to use lift to your floor & also via the stairs to unlock door to your floor. The key is also to provide the electricity to your room, hence the need for 2 keys.
Bed was comfortable but for the soft pillows these were not of great quality. Lumpy in parts & did not pass the pillow test.
The breakfast on offer was excellent. Full English with a choice of stuff. Cereal was on offer.
Check in was at 3pm via 2 machines at reception, there was someone on hand to help out if need be.
Overall the hotel was good & central to everything.
I was able to check in early which meant a great deal on a busy work day with an armful of bags. Christine was wee star, she went out of her way to be helpful.
