The overall stay was average - comfortable and bed and good location. However the room was absolutely freezing and housekeeping didn’t come one single time during our stay. We had to request housekeeping before noon each day, which we did. But when we got back at 5 or 6pm, housekeeping hadn’t passed. So after a whole week without housekeeping, it did not feel clean. We also we often woken up by surrounding sounds (room upstairs, neighbours, construction workers all day).
No running warm/hot water.
Couldn’t check in on time (or even 2 hours afterwards).
Had to clean the bathroom again ourselves.
Huge water leak in the room.
Denisa is amazing she has made our welcome so delightful so far, she is a gem and very special make sure you give her a promotion and look out for her she is a super star
I stay weekly for work and this hotel suffers from low staffing and tired rooms. However, I returned from work on 05/11 only to find that there was no water supply to the whole hotel. I was told that maintenance had tried unsuccessfully to fix it and left for the day. There was no notice in the lobby about this and I only found out about it when I complained.
The staff seemed to have no idea what to do and offered no solution other than a bottle of water but could not explain how that would help with showering/washing hands etc.
It's quite unbelievable that a hotel doesn't have water supply with no one working to fix it. It's even more incredible that the staff didn't inform guests or know how to support guests.
Guest services were useless, offering a part refund for one night. I explained to them that this wasn't adequate and it would be the company not me, who experienced this terrible service, that got the compensation. As with the hotel staff it was like talking to a brick wall. Avoid this hotel
The reviews made us a little bit worried, but that was not necessary.
We were kindly welcomed and helpen during our stay.
I have been using this hotel regularly for last couple of years as my office is across the road. The deterioration of this hotel is alarming, the cleanliness of the carpets etc is not good,. the change in quality of sheets is very noticeable. The lack of staff is ridiculous which makes me feel for the lovely staff that have to run around trying to please everyone. In the last month the inner security door does not lock which concerns me and my stay last week had me woken up at 8am with a guy outside my window drilling into the wall !!!! I complained and informed it was mentioned when i booked, in small print below my booking ! then why am I still paying over £200 for 2 week nights ?? Unfortunately I do not have another hotel as convenient as this one so I am stuck with it,. Last moan to PREMIER INN get your act together oh and sort the entrance doors the screech is unbearable to the ears !!!
We are still here unfortunately a stay 9 days too long. We received an email one week before our arrival notifying us of all the noise and our window could be covered by scaffolding. We booked and paid for this 10 months ago for 2 people. One chair in the room. One tea bag and one coffee pouch. The carpets are beyond cleaning. No fridge or in-house phone for emergencies. The general public has access to all parts of the area except the room Ofcourse. So disappointed that we have travelled from Australia to stay in the less than satisfactory conditions. Rooms are very dated and requested a room clean before the cut off time that also want relayed onto housekeeping.
People look elsewhere for accomodation you will be truly disappointed.
Slightly disappointing to have paid for the better room only to find the bits and pieces that should have come with the room didn’t
The experience was not upto the mark. Paid a fortune to stay over weekend and service was awful. The food arrived late and lack of staff was clearly visible. As a reputed brand we expected a decent service!
Breakfast was ok.
This was a disappointing stay.
Hygiene was unacceptable: Dirty towels and a carpet in awful condition.
Severe noise disturbance: Ongoing construction noise throughout the day; even after I complained, no action was taken—no room change, no remedy.
Insufficient amenities for two guests: A double room stocked with just one coffee bag and one tea bag.
Given these problems, the hotel fell far short of even basic standards. This experience was not worth the price and I would not recommend it unless these issues are addressed.
So hit and miss! One poor staff member trying to run the place all afternoon, card machine not working, till receipts not working, food ready but could not be delivered as only one staff member on! Not fair
Lovely Premier inn, very clean, the team there are very helpful and Denica always has a welcoming smile and happy spirit! The team are great and always go above and beyond to make sure your stay is as smooth as it can be. Food is great and location is good. When I'm working away, I always book this hotel purely because you can rely on the team, the food and the rooms.
シティ・オブ・ロンドンまで1時間弱だが、バスで1本だし、値段感を考えるとリーズナブル。
So I think i had a racist experience there? I was there with my parents, (for context they were here to drop me off for my masters) and we were staying here because it's near my student accommodation. The dude checked us in (i think he's a manager there? not sure he was the only one wearing a different uniform) and he asked us to see our passports (until that it's fairly normal procedure) but later asks us where we were heading next. Now, this would have been fine if it was in a conversation, but he asked us in a very interrogative way, so I got confused and asked, "what do you mean?" and he asked "Where are you heading off next?" So I said, "I guess I'll be here for college and my parents will be going back home?" and he said, okay. then he said, "it's a legal requirement for us to ask." That was the part to which I got even more confused because we stayed at a couple more hotels before this in London and we have never been asked that question. then me being petty, I googled and there is actually no legal requirement for them to ask that question. My dad said that's because he saw our passports and thought we were going to stay here....i got so mad because even the immigration officer at the airport didn't ask questions like that!
The other staff were quite nice though it was only that one manager. I asked him to make my extra bed for me and he said, "I'm going to warn you, I'm not great at housekeeping" and proceeds to literally barely make a bed for me and leave. idk if he just didn't like me or if he treated all the other guests the same way.
breakfast was ok, wouldn't recommend if you're going to stay for a week like I did. was also expensive for a budget hotel? i paid like 150 pounds per night. Maybe because it was on demand? I don't know, but i wished i stayed somewhere else. Ruined my whole damn mood.
I've stayed here many times without issue but this time I was very disappointed. On arrival it took forever to get our room key as the machine was broken. They eventually let us into our room and we had to go back later to get our key card. The room had a horrible smell. There was construction work taking place with scaffolding all around the building which in itself wasn't an issue but there was an intermittent banging noise going on all night for both nights of our stay so I didn't sleep very well.
However the staff were friendly and we enjoyed the cooked breakfast.
What a nasty experience! Waited for too long to checkin and the lady at reception didn’t even bother to be polite. She was busy in her phone and gave us keys that were faulty. When we went back the gentleman just smiled and tried to cover the fault by giving lame reason. We planned a dinner with my grand parents and could not find anyone in restaurant! It was an awful weekend at Wandsworth.
Awful. We asked 3 times to get the cleaned - never happened. So much for all the posters scattered around telling you how easy it is to get clean towels etc.
We'd booked a premier plus room for three nights - two occupants. On arrival, there was only one hand towel and one hand towel in the room, so extras had to be requested.
The room was a good size, and the bathroom was very clean with a good shower. However, the extractor didn't work, which resulted in the room steaming up quickly.
Our room wasn't cleaned on our first day, despite us getting reception know at 11.15am (you have to let them know by 12 noon if you want it serviced).
We requested a clean the next day, but on returning to our room to get ready for a wedding we were attending it hadn't been done again. I located a very helpful employee called Leo who provided me with some clean towels and assured me that he would instruct someone to clean it after we had gone out. This was done, so thank you Leo.
It appeared there was a shortage of cleaning staff and staff in general. I'd dropped something on the floor as we were leaving to go home, and under the bed there was dust and rubbish left by a previous guest!
I'd contacted the hotel twice prior to arrival about an issue, and they didn't give me the courtesy of a reply.
So, plus points:
Great location, good sized room, reasonable price.
Minus points: lack of basic cleanliness, basic maintenance, and basic communication skills.
It's such a shame as the basics let down what could be a great hotel.
