Everything was perfect from the time we checked in till the time we left
We had the breakfast both mornings and it WAS GREAT
Comfy bed
Lovely area with the quay view. Pretty good walking distance for tram and small shops. Really clean and comfy and great staff.
Lovely stay. Quiet and relaxing location. Standard room that was clean and satisfactory. The bed was so comfortable. Special call out to reception staff who were very friendly and helpful, especially Katarina. Thanks for a nice stay
Todo como esperado
Great location, discount for parking available, the rooms were clean and tidy the staff are friendly and helpful ,however the hotel could do with a refresh it’s looking tired some of the ceiling tiles in corridor were loose and cracked and looks like there may have been a leak at some point. Unfortunately the noise from the room above disrupted our sleep very heavy walking on and off all night. Didn’t feel safe either the room doors the lock didn’t feel secure even if it was locked The breakfast was lovely and located in the beefeater next door. We would stay again however we feel that the rooms need modernising and re decorated.
Pleasant hotel with comfy bedroom and reasonable bathroom with excellent shower facilities and near to Old Trafford to watch the soccer!
its okay
Reasonable stay. Check-in was easy.
Have to pay for parking at £10 per day (with a premier inn discount) - wasn’t aware of this at the time of booking.
Room was a bit tired and in need of a freshen up, but it was comfortable.
Major issue we had was another guest was able to gain access to our room while we were in bed during our last evening. The guest apologised and was a genuine mistake, however the way the lady at the desk dealt with it wasn’t the best. She said she couldn’t understand how it could possibly happen as there is only one key card allocated to our room. I explained that I understood that, yet someone was still able to gain access. She just said she would look in to it but I was offered no apology.
Karina was very kind and helpful making car park payment and meal selection very easy. Room pleasant, clean and comfortable.
Easy walk to Old Trafford.
Thde hotel is in a lovely position (especially if you have a Premier Plus room). Staff, comfort of the bed and cleanliness are all excellent, as alsways . However, air conditioning. The air conditioning in our room was not very effective. We found the same last time we stayed at Salford Quays. It did not cool the room down as effectively as other Premier Inns (despite an available lower than usual setting of 17 degrees, which was definitely never achieved. The air conditioning switched itself off every 6 hours, meaning we woke in the night feeling very hot and had to turn it back on again. Last time we stayed there it switched itself off every two hours and we were told 'that's what it's designed to do'. Please sort out this problem - you have a lovely hotel at Salford Quays which is being badly let down by the air conditioning.
You know what to expect when you go to a Premier Inn. The room was clean, We had breakfast next door. Only 10 minutes walk to The Lowry where we were seeing a show. Would use again.
Got train into Manchester then got the tram.
We arrived at the hotel much earlier than we planned to and parked up. Asked at reception if there was the chance of early check in, we were asked to come back in an hour or so which was no problem. Upon our return we checked in early - the guy we saw on both occasions was friendly and welcoming and was doing his best to get us in as early as possible. The room itself was lovely and clean with plenty of extra pillows, tea and coffee etc. We were in and out a lot but every time we went by reception we were spoken to and asked how we were, we felt very welcome - thank you to all staff we encountered!
Convenient location. Good comfortable rooms with easy check in and checkout. On site car park for additional payment.
What spoilt it was the cost. I acknowledge I paid for early check in and a flexible rate but £243 for 1 night in a Premier Inn is outrageous. They are not alone in ripping people off just because there is a football match on though. If they were I would have gone somewhere else. It was 3 times more to stay on a Saturday night than on Sunday. Rip off Britain indeed.
Great room, good location relatively close to the metrolink and media city.
However, directly outside of the hotel (and the adjacent beefeater restaurant) was filthy. It’s like walking was like an ashtray with cigarette butts everywhere. This was really off putting, and looked disgusting.
This hotel needs to do better.
I would describe this hotel as functional. We paid for a Premier Inn Plus room and it was worth paying for. Very spacious, which we needed as we were getting ready for a wedding. The room was clean including the bathroom, no sign of mould or anything in the bathroom it definitely seemed that there was an effort to keep it clean. We looked out over the waterfront which was great as there was watersports going on both days. Staff on reception could have been warmer. On our second night when we came back in we weren’t acknowledged at all which felt uncomfortable. We also weren’t asked if we enjoyed our stay when we left. Breakfast had lots of options and the cooked choices were made quickly. I did notice food under one of the tables on the first morning and then a fork under a table on the second day. I’m assuming just dropped from that morning. The car park was busy. We managed to get a space outside the hotel, we arrived at around tea time. If you got there later you might end up in the overflow, it was adjacent though so not far. Certainly a handy option for a hotel if you are down at Salford Quays.
lovely hotel, quiet, clean and friendly, excellent location and a very nice breakfast.
a very relaxing break from the hustle and bustle of life.
The wi-if was very poor & the pub attached to the hotel ( Beefeater) closed at 10:15pm on a Friday night & while we sat outside finishing our drinks several people want a drink but unfortunately the door was locked
Fabulous hotel, we picked a premier plus room, with a stunning view of Salford quays and Old Trafford. Breakfast was great and like the idea in this premier inn that the food is made fresh to order rather than left out for you to help yourself (less waste). The breakfast was served in the upstairs restaurant of the adjacent Beefeater. We chose to eat for our evening meal there too and I can honestly say that the food was excellent! We arrived by car and was alright, as car park was relatively empty, but the only small thing to note is that the car park is on the small size to service both Premier Inn and Beefeater. It still doesn’t detract from my 5 point score
