My room was quiet considering the neighborhood below the hotel is a busy pub area
Bra läge, ren och fräscht, mycket bra frukost!
We thought a very good and convenient hotel haven't been here in many years but would definately return.Great for gig at Thekla We had a super room on 3rd floor and view of water.Clean bed was comfy and as a Sunday night quiet outside so could have window open.Fridge coffee machine and iron in room.Easy to park outside for £6 till 9 am and we just topped that up for an hour .Staff were friendly and efficient
Rooms were tatty and dusty. Net curtain was badly creased and had holes in it.
Towels were grey and like concrete… I asked for some newer ones but that was the best they had!
Check in staff were miserable and not welcoming at all….
This was our 3rd time staying at this hotel and it was perfect.
We were able to check in at 3pm, and were in room 301. There are 3 floors in the hotel.
We had a standard room which was huge. A wardrobe for storage and separate hooks by the door for coats etc. There was a kettle and tea and coffee (you can also help yourselves to more supplies at reception).
The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfy. Our bathroom had a bath with a rain shower which was good and powerful. We also had a window that we could actually open which helped to get fresh air in. Housekeeping isn't generally done for a short stay but you can request it if needed, and you can get more towels at reception if you need them.
All the staff we met were welcoming and friendly, and on our last day they had a little pot of sweets, chocolate and biscuits at reception which was a thoughtful touch.
The hotel is in a fantastic area, just round the corner from pubs on King Street and a few minutes walk to the harbourside or St Nicholas market. We also found it convenient to get the airport bus as the stop near Queens Square was less than 10 minutes walk away.
A excellent choice, would stay again.
Despite double glazing & secondary glazing, we still had a lot of noise from outside!! 1 bar underneath hotel & 1 boat bar opposite, bars also around the corner so noise continued by people walking home! Location was good for exploring around the center & riverside & room was typical Premier Inn & was good apart from firm pillows. Breakfast was in pub under hotel & was good.
Parking was a 5 minute walk away and cost about £16 per day. The hotel is in a nice location close to a vibrant area with many pubs and restaurants none of which were chains (a couple were a bit bizarre), however as a result it was very noisy from two big open air bars just below our room until about 23:30. We booked a premier plus room so I was a bit disappointed that it didn't seem much different to a standard one. The shower was over a high sided bath when we had hoped for a walk in and it leaked water out of the side screen creating a big puddle on the floor each time we used it. The air conditioning in the room had a loud rattle which stopped you from sleeping so we had to switch it off then had very hot nights. There was nowhere to put clothes apart from a very small hanging space (partly taken up by an ironing board) so they mainly had to stay in the case. The wi-fi was so dire we ended up just using our mobile phones to create a hot spot. The single button hairdryer had no power or heat. As usual for Premier Inn these days the room was only cleaned if you put in a request to reception.
Breakfast was good but involved walking outside around the corner in the rain. Because we were staying for the WRWC semi-finals the hotel was charging premium rates and it definitely was not worth the £406 we paid for 2 nights. I've stayed in many, mostly very good, Premier Inns and this has to be one of the worst.
Overall disappointing! We had an Superior Room booked. It came with THE smallest bed only lovers in their honeymoon would feel comfortable in. No chance of getting an extra bed or even a mattress. At some point I slept on the floor.
The tiny bed only comes with one blanket ment for two people.
The not really helpful lady at the front desk was not even sure if we get a second blanket. At least that worked out.
Make sure to book a twin room if you go there with two people. The superior is not a good choice!
On the plus side: The location and the breakfast is great. Everybody in the restaurant was truly lovely.
Terrible, to the point that I'm sat in the room as I type. If you want to have no sleep and to be surrounded by drunks and bars until gone midnight then stay here. Location is terrible, I've stayed in a lot of hotels but this building must be cheap to rent, there's no other explanation for locating here. The worst and I wouldn't come back. Staff are good but breakfast.... I probably won't stay that long.
Very comfortable bed and great location but the bathroom was really not clean enough. There were long dark hairs around the bathroom including on the bath mat! The shower gel container had nothing in it, so we had to use hand soap to shower with. There was a huge ball of fluff by the bathroom door
Traveled to Bristol on the 29th August for a three night stay to see the Wallace and Grommet displays. The receptionist on duty on the Saturday morning, I believe she was called Brenda, was amazingly helpful in marking different places on my map and sent me off in the right direction which enabled me to achieve my objective of seeing as many of the models as possible. My room was nice and clean and the meal deal was good value for money with plenty of choice.
Lovely stay, room was satisfactory. Airline lost my bag and Amy went above and beyond to help me with arrangements to get it back. Really helpful in a stressful time.
Amazing stay! Spacious, spotless room with a stunning view. Staff was super friendly and helpful. 10/10! Impeccable customer service from Emily too
Very friendly staff and great accommodation. Emily was very helpful, kind and welcoming. The location was great only a few minute walk to the center of Bristol. Spacious room with good air conditioning and a very comfortable bed.
We booked a 5 night stay at the Premier Inn in Bristol (King Street).
The good
* Ideal city centre location. Short walk from railway station.
* Surrounded by some nice bars and restaurants.
* Beds extremely comfortable and high quality. Great sleep each night and no back pain but morning 💪🏻
* Rooms clean and tidy on arrival.
However, a few minor inconveniences where room for improvement could be made.
* No 'do not disturb' sign available. Someone entered our room without warning (most likely staff) whilst we were in there. At thatbppit we hadn't requested any service so there was no reason for anyone to go in.
* On day 3 we requested a light room tidy, only really requiring new towels and more toilet roll. They didn't put any toilet roll in despite us again that was more important than anything else.
* We were in room 215 which sits right next to a housekeeper storage room. The light in there activates a fan which vibrates very loud against our wall and can go on for hours if the staff don't bother to turn it off. We had to go to reception twice to ask for this to be turned off.
We are regular customers of premier inns. On this occasion if say it served it's purpose as a city centre location room at reasonable price. But certainly not the best we've been in
Such lovely staff! Hotel fine for city centre, no frills but none expected. For us, the breakfast topped the lot. The restaurant (Bar and Block) was packed and there was only one server but she was amazing! So polite, kept her cool and made a bad situation better.
Lovely stay, great staff. Come weekly for work and always to expectations. Emily and Tracey alwAys helpful and a joy at reception.
Overall the hotel is tired - not much else to say -- Restaurant was weak. Toasters never worked and eggs were either cold or over-cooked.
Lovely location for a premier inn, very lively area with plenty of bars and restaurants around. Staff was nice and friendly. Amy was very helpful in giving directions and information, lovely to talk to
We've stayed at this hotel a few times and it's in a great location, perfect for nearby restaurants and bars and for Queens Square. The girls on reception were ever so friendly. There's a really handy snacks machine in the lobby too - great for late night snacking.
