Amazing Place and Service, 10/10!
Pros:

Just.. WOWW! The outside of the building is absolutely beautiful we were wondering if we had found the wrong place. So beautiful! Parking isn’t too expensive, quite reasonable for the area.

But the true highlight of our stay (we’re on our final night as I’m writing this!) is the staff. Absolutely incredible staff team. They’re so friendly and attentive, and made us feel so welcome. They served with a smile always, and they were all just incredible.

The restaurant staff in particular were amazing. So accommodating and on the ball. The restaurant food prices are very reasonable and despite originally not having a booking at the restaurant they managed to squeeze us in and it was fantastic, so we booked again for the night after and it was just as great.

Such an incredible team, the company is so lucky to have them. Thank you for an incredible stay and experience, we’ll definitely be coming back for future conventions and events in Birmingham!

Overnight stay
Pros:

Sadly our stay was poor. We have stayed at this venue on numerous occasions without too many issues. Last Friday we stated opting for a premium room. The check in was slow. I understand the young man was serving drinks and food in the restaurant/bar area. He was being pulled in every direction. We were then told the internal lift was out of action. This was the same lift out of action the last time we stayed many months ago. We opted for another lift outside of the hotel which took us upto the 2nd floor. Our room was on the 3rd floor. Our room and facilities were v good. However during the night there was significant banging for several ours. It sounded like someone pacing about either in an adjacent room up above or in the corridor. It effected my ability to sleep. We eat in the restaurant that evening and it was bang average. Simple food presented poorly and greasy. The chef had to bring it to the table as no staff were available. In the morning we decided to leave the breakfast option eveb though we had paid for it.

A Comfortable Stay, but Building Services Maintenance needs Improving.
Pros:

This was me second stay and I would still recommend it. My room was large, comfortable and quiet and the staff polite and helpful.

BUT too may things were broken: the inner lift, the self check-in terminal and the breakfast coffee machine.

Get the atrium fire curtain fixed! This is a significant fault in the building fire evacuation strategy.

Disappointing.
Pros:

I chose a premier plus room which was very comfortable with coffee machine, free WiFi and chocolates. Unfortunately there were no towels, no chocolate, no bulb in the lamp, a dangerously loose toilet seat and a lift that was out of order, meaning that we had to use a lift outside the hotel and the stairs for the last floor.
However, the staff, just one when I arrived, did the best that they could. Premier Inn need to look after their colleagues.

Coventry's Hotel hidden gem
Pros:

The hotel is located in an interesting neo-classical style building which I believe was once a technical college. Easy access from the train station and shopping centre. Nice room, friendly staff and the breakfast in the morning was superb. Would definitely use again if in the area.

A mediocre stay.
Pros:

Whilst the rate we had for a four night stay seemed very good, the hotel fell below the standards of former Premier Inn stays. The whole place appears pretty poorly maintained with various things not working, doors / lifts etc. The reception and hallway areas all seemed quite dirty and tired. The breakfast was fine but the meals in the restaurant were mediocre and overcooked. On our last night the restaurant was closed because the chef hadn’t turned up. There was also no draught lager available at the bar.

One of Coventry's hidden gems ...
Pros:

Wonderful atmospheric Art Deco building, friendly front of house staff, very comfortable room. Really handy if you are going to a show at the Albany Theatre, it's part of the same building. Getting there is easy as there is a bus stop from the city centre directly outside the hotel. Great hearty breakfast and it was nice to see the chef sorting out the food and wishing us a good day.

Friendly staff
Pros:

I've stayed in many of the hotels in this chain and can honestly say this is the one with the most friendly staff! Hotel and rooms as you would expect, but every staff member engaged with a smile and were so helpful. Please pass this on, often kindness and a smile are missing in this industry so well done all. Chefs, check in and especially waiting staff thanks all.

No proper housekeeping
Pros:

The room was good and nice location is also good , the only problem with the hotel was housekeeping it was said that we have to inform in the morning to the staff if you want the room to be cleaned but when we did so inform in the morning the staff there said she is very busy and she will not be able to do the room she also send that we Indians want a lot of cleaning we stayed there for 4 nights for first two days room was not clean and then when we told again and again she clean it by making faces that is not a good way to treat a guest. Rest rest everything was good there

Clean, comfy, spacious
Pros:

Clean room, spacious, the comfiest bed I've slept in, having a large on site car park for cheap as chips was encouraging. Disabled parking is available at arms length from the reception entrance too.
Even the house keepers were sweet and wishing safe journey when I passed them

Decent hotel
Pros:

Decent and clean hotel. The lift to the 2nd floor was not working so had to walk from the 1st floor. Windows do not open at all so quite stuffy and airless. Otherwise clean and comfortable.

A pandabulous stay at this hotel
Pros:

After an easy check in I was able to find my room easily enough, the room was very clean and quiet . I had everything I need for my two night stay. My schedule didn't permit me to check out the restaurant except for breakfast, which was buffet style and yummy so maybe next time, I'll try a lunch or evening dining experience. Thanks to the team who were very professional and helpful. I will consider staying again if I need to stay in Coventry again. 🐼
