104 spaces shared with the restaurant. Larger vehicles to park at the back of the hotel. Coach parking on the road directly in front of the hotel/restaurant. The area in front of the hotel is a dead end. No height restriction.
From both directions, exit M6 at J34 and turn left on A683 towards Lancaster. The hotel is located on the left in Lancaster Business Park.
Cleared the hot breakfast buffet away when i arrived at 08.45 for my breakfast booked for 9am. Coffee machine out of order. Called last orders at the bar in the evening at 9.30pm and closed at 10 pm. Ridiculous. On arrival the room was cold ,no heat in the room. reception gave me an oil heater to plug in,
Excellent stay at Premier Inn Lancaster! Thank you Sue (duty manager on reception) for such a welcoming and efficient check in.
The room was spotlessly clean and beautifully comfortable. We slept soundly after a long hard journey.
Brilliant, friendly and extremely helpful staff.
Great room. I will always use this premier inn
when in this area.
Thank you guys.
Lovely hotel, very clean and tidy. The halls were very quiet, with the windows shut you couldn't hear any traffic or outside noise, the room had black out curtains and the bed was very comfy so the sleep was amazing! The room we had was a premier plus so had a mini fridge, coffee machine, kettle, tea bags/coffee/coffee pods etc. Also had a TV so we could have easily hibernated for the week! We had breakfast each morning at the onsite pub place which was so nice, and we had an evening meal there too on one of the nights which was nice pub grub but they had lots of different options on the menu, I just really fancied some classic pub grub. Staff were all very nice and friendly. Just a perfect place to relax and recuperate.
Room 107 very tired bathroom. Toilet not properly fixed to the wall so wobbles about with every movement. Silicone seal all around the floor completely away from the wall. The floor had big dips in it where it was clear there had been leaks or water damage.
Located a fair stretch from town we were worried we would find this unconventional. However, the friendly staff gave us a map and told us about the park and ride bus. So we left our car at the hotel, safe, and caught the bus which is every 15 mins into the city. This saved us battling the one way system and a huge parking cost. So a great start!
breakfast was great as always, room was really clean and we had no disturbances through the night. Good value for money and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The atmosphere was friendly and we are already looking to rebook.
Fantastic staff at this hotel make a dated site a pleasurable experience. Thanks to Bill and Sue help was always at hand In fact all the staff we met were wonderful. Many thanks
We've stayed here before and it was excellent: friendly staff and a very accessible location. Most recently we stopped off here for breakfast as a walk-in. Extremely clean, excellent value for money and lovely staff. All very much appreciated so thank you so much.
On way to Artigas 111 in Benidorm for a toastie, stopped here for the most wonderful sleep ..like ever.!
Comfy beds and super pillows.Would return .Fab!
Nice place
Firstly, all of the staff without exception were friendly, courteous and efficient. This also applies to the adjoining Brewer's Fayre. The room itself was clean and and dust free. The bathroom was also clean and the shower works well. The towels were a little bit past their prime, but they were undoubtedly both clean and fresh. The continental breakfast too was fine. Not amazing, but probably due to the turnover, it all seemed fresher than many. Certainly nothing to complain about.
The exterior of the building is rather tired and could undoubtedly do with a refresh. The only real negative is that my room was very close to the A589. As a result, it could gets quite noisy, especially late at night/very early morning as it is on one of the arterial routes to the city. The windows to the room were double glazed and there is also secondary glazing. However, in keeping with the general fabric of the building, they're past their best and could do with replacing with something more efficient. The noise of traffic can at times, be intrusive. In keeping with all of the Premier Inns that I've stayed in, the Ultimate WiFi is incredibly slow and I would certainly not advocate anyone paying for it. The only benefit I can see over the free version, is that once signed in, you're in for the day.
The parking is currently 'free'. However, I feel so it should be given the costs of the rooms and facilities on offer. A number of Premier Inns have started charging for car parking which is extremely mean spirited. I understand that there are plans to extend this to all branches in the future. An additional £6.00 or so per day parking fee just about tips the cost into the same amount as the Holiday Inn, which may influence my choice in the future.
Overall, this is was a comfortable stay and I would certainly return here, which is more than I can say about some of the other branches. Again, the friendlies of the staff is a real positive here and it really does make a difference.
Staff (I think it was Erin) were particularly helpful...... The onsite Brewers Fare was Ok and the Breakfast Good......
We never visit again as I was humiliated by the manager regarding paying for breakfast for our disabled son. To make matters worse we were all woken up by the males aching at 4.30 am. The rude manager needs training and on dealing with customers.
Very clean. Staff fantastic, premier plus rooms are great .
Free parking
Nothing is too much trouble
Highly recommended
Location is decent enough - handy as it’s just off the M6. Staff are pleasant enough, no complaints there. My room was on the first floor, facing the main road. The room heat control was not working, so the room was like a furnace when I arrived. Managed to open the window so a little fresh air came in along with the road noise. Toddled off to the Beefeater next door for a drink - and was surprised to get last orders at 9:45pm and it closed at 10pm!
More on the room. Very tired and in need of an update. The bathroom was woeful. Toilet was coming off the wall, all the sealant was loose and there were gaps. The floor was loose and rippled, the skirting was loose and the sealant had come away. The bath side was bulging and obviously quite rotten.
I was stranded train cancelled in the news all trains cancelled north Wednesday 3rd September.
rang reservations from the station quote £152 room only .
It was so warm nothing but a chair at the dressing table which was broken I wondered why there was a fan !The room was so overheated despite trying to open the windows.
Poor sleep how can they charge that when it's usually £80.
What a laugh good night's sleep guaranteed I was up 5am left 7.10am for my train back up to Edinburgh what a total disappointment.Seriously consider your stay
I am sure this would have been a regular Premier Inn experience, if it were not for the heat. It was a warm day and the building retained the heat throughout the night. The window cannot be opened very much and the fan provided could not cool the room. I realise that outdoor heat is outside anyone's control, but there must be a point where the temperature in a room is no longer fit for occupation. No sleep had.
The room that we stayed in smelled of cigarette's smoke. We bought a room freshener from nearby Sainsbury. The ventilation in the room and shower is very poor and unhygienic . Our daughter found a centipede in the toilet floor. The breakfast is contracted to restaurant where the continental breakfast food was directly from store and of low and cheap grade. The sofas in the dinner area was torn and fillings were coming out. The dinner area poorly lit. The staff did their minimum work of welcoming guest and answering any queiries. It was not a good experience. We had some what same poor experience when we had stayed in Premier Inn Milton Keynes South hotel. We thought of it as one off location. But we now we have experienced low quality at two places to write this feedback.
A very "tired" hotel much in need of redecoration at very least but preferably a significant upgrade to include air circulation i not air conditioning. That main corridor off which access is provided to the rooms, was suffocatingly hot which perhaps compounded the airlessness in the rooms. Even conditioning that corridor in some way would help alleviate the problem. Decor is well past sell by .... by at least a decade,
Sue and all the team are very welcoming. We have been before and will go again as we are made to feel as if it really matters to them that we have a pleasant stay. If we need anything the staff are always obliging, even when they are busy. The room was spacious and comfortable and the bed invites sleep! The room was clean, well prepared with a pleasant ambience,
