This hotel has vary large rooms, especially according to England's standards. Very tidy bathroom. Very quiet, I could sleep without being disturbed.
Well located right between Wimbledon beautiful train station and village, and South Wimbledon subway station.
Many grocery stores, wine merchant and good restaurants in the neighbourhood.
Our 5-night stay was absolutely wonderful! We arrived around midnight for check-in, and the staff still greeted us with the biggest smiles (almost too polite — in an adorably annoying way :))) ). The breakfast was tasty (not the most varied, but totally fine), the beds were super comfy, and the area was peaceful and well-connected by public transport (about a 10–15 minute walk to the nearest metro stations).
All in all, we were really happy with everything — accommodation, location, and transport. Thank you, Wimbledon! 🥰
Nicoleta & Cedric — we’ll be back with pleasure!
Friendly and caring staff, especially Jim (Korean gentleman) from the reception. Very good breakfast. Thank you for the pleasant stay.
This place is dreadful.
My partner and I stayed for 2 nights in what they call a "premier plus" room.
There was a catalogue of issues:-
- The automated check in didn't work and we waited ages for a staff member to check us in manually.
- There was encrusted dry urine around the top of the toilet bowl.
- The toilet seat was broken.
- The sink was dirty.
- There was mould growing in the shower.
- The shower controls didn't work properly.
- The room carpet was dirty and stained.
- The bed was very hard and uncomfortable, and the pillows were old and flat. So much for their promise of a good night's sleep!
They clearly have an issue with cleaning and the whole place is tired and shabby.
When we complained we were given a 25% discount.
Do not stay here if you expect a pleasant hotel experience.
Clean
I chose to stay in Wimbledon as I was going to the nearby theatre. It was an easy travel from Paddington and I would do the same again even if I was visiting the city.
The whole area is much nicer than being in central London with lots of cafes, restaurants and shops nearby.
The hotel was more affordable being slightly further out of the city centre and the whole experience was just more relaxing and enjoyable as the hotel felt less crowded and busy and therefore made for a quieter more relaxing stay. Staff had time to answer questions, the room was a good size, the hotel was clean and there is a large restaurant/bar attached to the hotel for mealtimes.
Staff helpful and kind at front of house and in the restaurant. We had come as various members of family for our Mum's funeral and everyone was so kind. The Premier Plus room was so great and good value for money I will book this again. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful.
Väldigt bra frukost
Was ok. Could do with a spruce up
Breakfast good although Breakfast in area less expensive. This PI has a steak house as the restaurant so not usual PI good food choices
We recently stayed here, third time we have been in this hotel. This is definitely a lovely place to stay. The staff are all outstanding and will go out of their way go ensure you enjoy your stay here. Our room was lovely and clean. We had a lovely bathroom with a rain shower. We opted for the hot breakfast selection and it was very good value for money. I had poached eggs which can be ordered along with boiled eggs and porridge - all cooked to order. Lots of hot foods on the counter and readily available. Our breakfast host each day was Katie and she was an asset to this establishment. She was always there overseeing everything and ensuring that the guests were happy.
Lovely place
Easy to get to.Lovely area for both shopping and eaterys.
Comfortable, clean , pleasant place to stay. Easy access to the rest of London
Received a warm welcome check in was easy room
Was clean and comfortable
The restaurant was very quiet but the staff were attentive and the tapas was nice
Check out easy all the staff I encountered were friendly
Have generally always found premier inns very good value for money and staff friendly and helpful
As usual wonderful hotel with a great staff always ready to help. It is the third time we come and they are wonderful. Many thanks
Bed was very comfortable and the room was large enough for two of us.
We could control our own temperature.
Housekeeping were fabulous each day. Loved returning after a long day to a fresh smelling, clean and tidy room.
Having a fridge in our room was such a bonus. We really appreciated having the daily bottled water,
Front desk reception staff were friendly and most helpful.
Quick elevator service.
Very quiet location.
Convenient to have the restaurant on site.
Such a convenient location for transportation, dining and visiting family.
Nice Hotel great location Just a few niggles.
There is very little storage in the room no draws or cupboards just five coat hangers. So if you are staying for a few days there is nowhere to unpack.
Very little communication from the staff and not the most endearing at check in.
We stopped for the meal deal in the restaurant on the last night The food was very good but with lots of add ons from the set price deal. Staff seemed to be very busy not having time to talk also they were in T shirts or sweat shirts, very casual !
For location you can't beat it for south London Just a short walk to the station and there is a train to Waterloo every 5 mins
Only One bath towel per room if you want more you have to go to reception.
There was a brief fire alarm incident at 10.30pm it sounded three times in quick succession then went quiet it left us wondering what was happening but there was no apology at the time or explanation in the morning when we were checking out.
It has a good location and rooms are comfortable to sleep. But I think the hotel should add bill boy service even with small charges to help the guest.
I personally have had a great help from Chinue from the front desk with everything. She made life easy for my family.
Pretty much only used it for sleeping
Great location, close to Wimbledon and train station. Room was small but sufficient. Bathroom was clean and bed was fine.
