Premier Inn Plymouth City Centre - Derry's Cross

Check in was very easy and the front desk agent (Mash) was very welcoming to the hotel. He was knowledgeable and gave the hotel a far more professional look in the way he worked and communicated - by doing this he stood out from everyone else working at the hotel that night.
My room was extremely clean and comfortable- very quiet too. No complaints on what is a well ran budget end motel type property- great value for money and I’d definitely return.

Myself and my husband booked a 2 night stay at the Premier Inn as we have family in the area.

The hotel room was clean and adequately equipped for our needs and we have stayed here on several occasions.

Unfortunately the hotel was understaffed and I felt very sorry for the staff as they were overwhelmed with working on the reception, bar and restaurant. I understand that the Management knew that it would be a busy weekend but failed to arrange sufficient staff.

I cannot fault the staff, who all retained their composure dealing the pressure they were under. Well done to all of them who worked on Friday evening and Saturday morning (28th and 29th Nov).

A note for the manager - to ensure there are enough staff when they know there are a lot of rooms booked to the Premier Inn.

First time staying in Derrys Cross. Me and my daughter went to the theatre which is literally a stones throw away. Check in was easy, the room was beautiful and clean, the shower was amazing. I cant compliment the staff enough they were all really friendly and helpful, even when my daughter lost the key card. The manager was really kind to her. We will definitely be back. Thank you soooooo much! Oh and the breakfast was wonderful! My daughter ate free too, added bonus!

Charlie the duty manager was superb! Really helpful advice on parking for security and also helping us find the best room for our family needs (cot etc). Charlie - if we may say - was a credit to Premier Inn and the hotel.

My experience in this premier inn in Plymouth city Center has been 5 out of 5! Mash the manager has been amazing and really helpful. Great customer service from Mash and truly made my stay more comfortable. This is my second visit to this hotel and that’s solely because of manager Mash. I will be returning again.

Mash was friendly, professional and attentive despite the hotel being short of staff. The food was delicious! The rooms are large and well maintained.

On the whole an enjoyable experience rooms clean and comfortable breakfast ample the only downside was in the bar area the lad working the bar could probably do with a hand as at one point he was serving drink serving food doing reception and tending to customer needs but the whole time staying polite and professional which I personally think was a credit to him I think his name was mash.

On the first night of stay we went down for dinner and a drink. It was a busy evening with few staff working. Mash was very friendly and attentive to everyone and despite being busy did everything to make sure mum and I had everything we needed. He was friendly, kind and caring. Such a lovely man! Absolute star

Mash was very good with explaining changes to the menu and was apologetic when there was something wrong. He was by himself and was run off his feet.

Mash was so accommodating when dining at restaurant. He was apologetic when things went wrong with food order and made sure we were satisfied with the outcome. He was contented with our stay and wanted us to feel we could come back again feeling reassured. Thank u Mash. 😀

I stay in premiere inns across the country nearly the entire year for work, and this has to be one of the best ive stayed in! Rooms are spotless and very well maintained.

Attending for the university open day. Nice view of the Christmas lights around the theatre royal yet peaceful and quiet to sleep. Literally zero noise from the busy road. Super easy check in. Very pleased.

We stayed and had our evening meal at the Derry's Cross hotel.
We was served our evening meal by Mash and Caitlin and we couldn't of asked for anyone better. They were super helpful, made us aware of the meal deals and was super attentive to us all. Made us feel welcome, at ease and happy.

I have stayed in this premier inn many of times the rooms are lovely and clean beds are very comfortable.
The staff are very friendly and very helpful one lady in particular Agnes always smiling and always very polite
Its also very central walking distance to anywhere you need to go

All the food cooked by Angnes was very nice, especially the chicken tikka skewers! Caitlyn was lovely when she served us.
